deebsman1: What is the meaning of all this? Where is 'ATTACK' = human feaces that normally litters almost everywhere? This is nothing but work of modern cameras. lol @ bold. have you been there lately? Def NO. Unlike those days, you cannot sight any form of 'ATTACK' in the premises. Believe me, the almighty 'Attack Reserved Area' ( zamfara - stadium) is as Attack-Free as the 'walkway'. Becomrichn: the rating may be based on performance. While I was at the university of ilorin. The engineering faculty was the best in nigeria for 3 years. I wouldn't doubt that. That was then. Faculty of Engineering lost it all from the day Olufeagba was 'thrown out'. . . thank GOD he was embraced by those who knew and know his worth. @ Becomrichn nice sites to behold; memory -awakening indeed. Nice one. |

lol, I would like to see the movie.
. . . I mean, Funke spent some time with the locals in Ilorin, just to learn more of their acts, gesture and Ilorin's Yoruba-accent; before the making of 'Jenifa'.
Seeing Femi Adebayo, the Ilorin boy himself in a similar role . . . the flows must be so natural. |

Na wa for Nigeria network operators. They don't even apologize or compensate. Just stealing our fund in the name of prepaid services. not in their dictionary. I'm sure they are making plans on the next strategy to make; just to rob their magas subscribers, to cover for the financial loss/expenses. |

Women are strong, no doubt.
Not all are aggresive. . . . my Mama Ejima used to ''get on my nerves'' lol, you hear her voice all the time in the house, she does the driving whenever we take a ride, it's instant caution at whoever hits the gate harder than normal and so on.
These ended one hot afternoon, when I decided to shake her and deposit something inside something. She became as quiet as a mouse from that moment for the next 9-10 months; I almost regret my action 'cos I missed her talking at the top of her voice in house, I missed the way she jumps all around me, she didn't care to read my text messages nor bother to scroll through my 'received calls' and so on. My dear Mama Ejima wasn't aggressive at all, not all pregnant women are. |

Our so-called political leaders in Kwara are the 'confusionists', they believe associating with the hausa/fulani will earn them better political power, influence and respect among the other Yorubas. |
Culture › Re: Kwarans: People With Mixed Culture by xreal: 8:14am On Feb 05, 2011 |
olawalebab: Often time. Kwarans always found themselve confuse about where they truly belong to. Are they the hausa nigeria take them to be or the yoruba which they belive they are. Lets have your view I can see you the confused one here. How on earth could the Indigenous People of a 'state' as old as Kwara be confused about their identity? Grab a book on Kwara's history. |
