I stay in ALUU and did not notice any vandalization even as i walked by the Hausa quarters at block industry bus stop along the UDSS - omuokiri axis. There has been however a noticed disappearance of many Hausa people from the entire area. Sule that runs a petty shop at the Olive Estate junction sent his junior brother away last week and himself took off some days back. In his absence i hear his shop was robbed (can't confirm that for sure) as its locked, his apprentice who speaks Hausa and Ibo though not from the north is around but does not open the place.

There is a shortage of bike men as most of them where from the north but again it may be that other bike men from Akwa Ibom too have travelled. I did see a Hausa man that voted with me in the same polling unit at that junction near emmatex where they sell biscuits and yam, only him was there coming out of the zinc partition which i suppose serves as their bathing area. He is an old man and well known around; anyone who touches him will know how far.

I'm sure the 'him is an Hausa.
