And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

According to Mark, he saw them TOGETHER and told them follow me and they did TOGETHER.

Luke was not that sure, so he left that part out of his own accounts

John 1:40-42 (KJV) One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

John told us that it was Andrew who went looking for his brother Simon and not Jesus calling them together. Also that Andrew was signed on from The Baptist FC Team.

So, who should we believe?

Just as a 10yr experience is short-scripted in a 2hr movie..so is the Bible a summary of Times and God's word noting key events.
Jesus saw 2 brothers - was a summary event
John account was detailed how he saw them - Andrew found(went to call) his brother to meet Jesus.
Imagine Jesus (the popular figure at the time) at a spot seeing Andrew.. Andrew rushed to call Simon -guy leave wat ure doing Jesus is outside wants to see us i cant go alone... Come..
Then Jesus talked to both.
The reporter (book Matthew & Mark) only saw where Jesus talked to both.. he didnt see the intro. 👌🏼

The summary is that Jesus CALLED (meaning Appointing them disciples..not the literal 'come') both.. however they were found.

If a couple is giving report of their issues... The wife will definitely say it differently from the husband. Which will look like either is lying. Or if ur kids are reporting an event u witnessed to you.. they will say it differently but u know what they are trying to say.

The Bible is a mystery book of Logos (just letters & reports) and Rhema (the revealed word)... A feint logic reader can't understand but argue. (This is perfectly understandable).
The Logos are much more (in quantity) than the Rhema.. and unfortunately they are scattered (unarranged perfectly)
