South-South Governor is still Desperate to inject crisis into PDP. ....doles out N25m each to Deputy officers to move against NWC A South-South Governor driven by his ambition to be either President or Vice President in 2023 is still bent on removing the People's Democratic Party, PDP's National Working Committee, NWC from office. Several strategies he deployed to achieve this in the past have failed but he continues to explore other means. Now using a very strong former National Assembly member, the governor is planning to deploy a group known as deputies in the party system who are not members of the National Working Committee, NWC, to sow a fresh seed of discord in the party. According to a source from one of the deputies from the North, the Governor's contact person has already asked all the deputies to forward their account numbers to receive twenty-five million Naira N25m to them. Their role is to ask for the NWC members' sack and they need to do it fast before August 9, 2021, when the PDP governors are supposed to meet in Abuja to deliberate on the affairs of the party. The intention now having failed to convince his colleagues and other critical stakeholders on the removal of NWC is to hype the anti-NWC story so that party leaders will feel embarrassed to agree to his position. The governor was also further frustrated by his failure to recruit the former Vice President into his anti-NWC project. But some angry elders of the party are fed up with the governor's continuous confusion when the party should be preparing for 2023 which is obvious that Nigerians are anxiously waiting for the PDP.
