With 80%-20% CAD Destination: Poland and Belgium. Exchange rate is btw 410 and 420(jan 2013) The Opportunity: 1. Ayin Charcoal: To Dubai The total capital is between N2,000,000 and N2,200,000 (depending on the location of purchase) We would partner with you in the Area of sourcing the quality charcoal (which is the hardest part of the business) 2. Opportunities: BBQ Charcoal There are 2 basic opportunities available for entrepreneurs. The entrepreneur with I) Large Capital. ii) Low Capital Let me explain the opportunities in details. The market is still very Big! i) The Entrepreneur with Large Capital. 5 Containers & above... He has (N1,350,000-N1,400,000) x 5 for Charcoal business. But money is not enough. He must acquire skills to make the Capital produce profits. The skills we are talking about here is very important. The difference between a success and a failure in any business is the quality of time he has spent in learning the process of his trade. Many underestimate the importance of knowledge and run into business troubles. However, this is not to say that there are no Risk in this business venture at all. Let me list some of these challenges based on my experience so far. II) Entrepreneur with low capital can start with N1,350,000-N1,400,000 and still earn a decent returns. The Challenges: i) Foreign exchange fluctuation. Euro prices fluctuates could increase or decrease the profit. Euro/ Naira january has been between N410-N420/€ ii) Lack of Planning. Export requires planning. iii) Lack of proper management in the area of Logistics, forwarding agents, etc iv) Lack of proper Supervision at loading. Many fail because of this. Charcoal has its quality and quantity specified on the contract paper. Failure to plan and met the specific standard required would lead to failure. Everyone can go to the bush and make wood charcoal, but not everyone making noise about its potentials can source for the right quality and quantity. You need an experienced trader beside you to achieve this. "Never take for granted-"mentoring" that is the bedrock of any successful businessman. I make money from this business and Inspite of that, I still have Mentors. Action Plan: Getting started at this point is a very easy thing to do. You can participate at any entry level you want. "Small or Large Scale Entrepreneur" To start now, you can reach me on My phone number is 08028913909, 08077918702 Thanks for taking your time to read this update. |

Hi everyone, Are delta people different from igbos? They bear 'Igbo' Names like, Ngozi,Nnamdi, Nneka,Uche, Ikpada, Ifeanyi, Their language looks like igbo and have igbo traditions, At least, I hear them speak a bit of igbo(the ones i can hear) I also hear them yearning for thier own state. My friends claim they don;t belong to the igbo, In fact, they don't like anything relating to igbo people according to them, But i believe to the contrary because i see them more of an igbo(except that they are not business inclined like a typical igbo people in lagos) While I was there, I also noticed an arguement between a man from Agbor, trying to communicate to a woman from Onicha-ugbo. They could not understand each other's language, But why do some other people from Onicha-Ugbo speak and hear proper igbo language.(I mean the core Igbo) What is the difference in these languages and these confusion, I am now a totally confused yoruba man because I have read a whole lot on these topic online and I a am now more confused than before, Is it not like the yorubas, Oyo, osun, ogun, ondo, ekiti, Which tribe are these people.? Thanks |
thanks igboboy, i appreciate your contribution. even the whole igbo culture is not clear to me, well.i Only have an idea of what the tradition is, thanks |
what's their culture like... |
