You can think of whatever you are good at, create it and publish it on any selling platform e.g Amazon Kindle Publishing, or create a website and sell it yourself.

2. Affiliate Marketing - This is another fast-rising business in Nigeria. This alone has made more millionaires in 2 years than any business I know, from undergraduates, stay-at-home parents, teachers, receptionists, youth corps, etc.
What is Affiliate Marketing? This is you selling a product and getting a commission for it. You can sell from physical to digital products and make huge money selling them.

3. Copywriting - This business has made more millionaires in the last 30 years on a global scale than every other business.

Copywriting is simply “sales in print” I may not go deeper into it because I want to make this post very short. But this skill can make you millions in weeks.

Many companies and startup businesses are created yearly and they are looking out for great copywriters. If you become good at this. You can be making millions weekly.

What is affiliate marketing? Affiliate marketing is simply the act of recommending people's products and you get a commission for every purchase made.


E.g. A vendor has a product worth 100k and you recommend this product to a prospect who eventually buys the product, you can get a 40 - 60% commission depending on the the commission the vendor sets.

Affiliate marketing is also a billion dollar industry and there are different niches in this global industry... But I won't be going into those niches...

Now, what will make you to succeed as an affiliate marketer?

1. You need to learn how to sell, how to persuade and influence people especially strangers
2. If you do not have a large audience, you need to learn how to run paid targeted ads related to the product you want to recommend
3. You also need to recommend a high ticket product not just any product

These are some of the benefits of being an affiliate marketer..
1. Low risk - There’s little risk of loss since payments are only made when there’s an actual conversion; perfect for businesses on a tight budget.
2. Flexibility - As an affiliate marketer, you are flexible, you you can only choose products that are favorable to you and sell them. Also, affiliate marketing can be a part-time job for you — this is the beauty of being an affiliate marketer

Today, I went to Spar in Enugu and while I sat down, enjoying what I bought

Someone close to my seat had just purchased meatpie from kilimanjaro

But the person wasn't happy eating the meatpie

The person kept on complaining about the meatpie and made a striking statement to her friend

"if you go inside town, you will see better meatpie than this, this is rubbish"


And I think the meatpie was expensive for her to make this complaint

You see two things make a business survive on the long run:

These two things make a business to stand the test of time...

Even Global churches(Winners, RCCG, Christ Embassy, Salvation ministry etc.) have a functional system...

These companies have a working system and though some of them don't know how to market their products but because of how functional their systems are, you may not notice.

Now, a working system and an effective marketing strategy is not only meant for big companies(these companies were once a small company) its for every business.

1. Sell like Crazy by Sabri Suby - Honestly speaking, before I read this book, I was an "olodo" in marketing, I knew nothing. This book opened me up to what's marketing, the importance of marketing, Sabry showed me that "marketing is the life of my business"

2. $100m offers by Alex Hormozi - This is a bestseller on Amazon now, I was watching a webinar and when I asked the tutor his best marketing book, after mentioning the first 2, he mentioned this book and it was just released, it's similar to sell like crazy but one of the author's focus is on making crazy offers that people can't resist through using scarcity, urgency bonuses, and guarantees.

3. How to sell to Nigerians by Akin Alabi - at first, I saw this book as the hype and was reluctant to read it though but, I later did read it. Whooo!!!! That book is a masterpiece, if you are in the Nigerian Market and want to understand the Nigerian Market, you should get this book.

There are other books on marketing, which one has been your best?

While growing up, I did not understand the meaning of being valuable, I only related it to money

But when I became of age, I realized that I have to be valuable else hunger go finish me.

Have you ever wondered why Doctors charge an outrageous amount of money to treat sickness?

Have you also wondered why teachers are not paid according to their value?

Becoming valuable has two sides of the coin. You can be valuable in a congested market and no one will recognize you (e.g teachers)

I was conversing with someone who claimed to be a lover of God and he was telling me how most of his friends were tech startups...

Why did I share this story, many people believe that to serve God, you must live a life of piety, you should look poor and live poor but that's not God's will.

How will you buy Bibles? How will you fund the growth of the kingdom? How will you take care of your loved ones?

All of these requires resources and God knows, that was why He said that He has given us the ability to create wealth(Deut 8:18)

Will a God that doesn't want us to be rich give us the ability to become rich?

Now, I am writing this to you because I desire that you become wealthy and you shouldn't listen to those who say otherwise

There is a difference between a high income job(Like shell), a high income profession(like medicine) and a high income skill(like copywriting and affiliate marketing)

The first two requires longer time, training and resources. the last ones can be learnt in months and the rewards are equal.

Believe it or not, there are programmers(High income skill) who earn a lot more than lawyers(high income profession)

My advice number is, learn a high income skill that can help you fetch more money.
