Jokerman: Please before you attack me as usual to go back to my states.
Please I just need answer to the above topic above??
Take for instance, Ogun state. The high IGR that state generates, yet even Abeokuta is nothing to write home about, I was just there yesterday for a business at Oke Mosan, I was not happy, thought the monies generated could have been better.
Those good for nothing governors are embezzling these funds Stupid governors are embezzling these funds
What about Lagos state?? Some areas on the mainland still don't have good roads, good drainages, and water still floods some parts of the island too.. I begin to wonder, what is happening with all these generated revenues. Lagos state should be on the level of Johannesburg, Alexandria etc, in Africa
What about Rivers state, Delta and Bayelsa states? With all the oil revenues yet, poverty even in their state capitals?
When will citizens starts asking these leaders questions? Or is it a Black Man problem?? Because I know if Nigeria was a white country, it would have been one of the leading destinations in the world...

Gistmedia10: In a viral footage captured by a fellow student, fresh female graduates were seen boasting about the extravagant costs of their hairstyles during their sign-out day, igniting a wave of criticism online. The video featured the graduates discussing the prices of their hairpieces, with one graduate revealing her wig cost a staggering 500,000 Naira, while another flaunted a 350,000 Naira hairstyle.
As they turned around for the camera, the filmer exclaimed, "Oh my God!" at the eye-popping prices, seemingly in awe of their extravagant looks. However, many netizens did not share the same enthusiasm. Instead of celebrating their academic achievements, commenters expressed disappointment, arguing that the graduates should have been more focused on their cumulative grade point averages (CGPA) rather than the cost of their hair.
One commenter quipped, "Next, ask them what's the meaning of CGPA," highlighting the disconnect between their academic success and their priorities. Others, however, defended the graduates, stating, "That is why it is good to date someone that has money. How can a broke guy afford this fee?"
As a reflection of contemporary societal values, where materialism sometimes overshadows academic accomplishments, leaving many to question the true essence of education and success.

Edo First Lady hosts reception for couple left stranded by Marriage Court Registrar* The Edo State First Lady, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki, at the weekend, organised a wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Abel Eromosele Ugiagbe, the couple whose marriage ceremony was disrupted by the absence of the Registrar of the Federal Marriage Registry, in Benin City, Edo State. Mrs. Obaseki said her decision to host the reception for the couple was to ease the pain they went through following the disappointment on their wedding day, adding that the compassionate nature of Mr. Abel Eromosele Ugiagbe who felt bad that the registrar lost his job drew her closer to the couple. She noted, "After I confirmed the report as true, I called my friend and wife of the Minister for Interior, Mrs. Aregbesola who briefed her husband about the development. The Minister apologized to the couple. “I really felt for the couple, especially the bride and decided to host them for a reception to make up for the disappointment on their wedding day.” The First Lady commended the groom for his compassionate nature, adding, "He told me that ITV came around and saw the situation and they just expressed how they felt but never knew the report will go viral and will lead to the registrar losing his job." The Chairman of the occasion and Chief of Staff to Edo State Governor, Hon. Osaigbovo Iyoha, congratulated the couple on the success of their wedding despite the disappointment they experienced over the failure of the Registrar of the Federal Marriage to show up for the marriage. He urged guests at the reception to see every disappointment as a blessing, adding, "This is the first official state wedding reception held in this hall in Government House following the disappointment from the registrar who ought to join the couple on May 28th, 2021, but failed to show up and it became a topical issue after the story went viral on social media.” *PHOTO CAPTION:* *DSC_01:* L-R: Edo State First Lady, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki and Mr. and Mrs. Abel Eromosele Ugiagbe, during the couple's wedding reception at Government House, in Benin City. *DSC_02:* L-R: Wife of Edo State Head of Service, Mrs. Patience Okungbowa; Chief of Staff to Edo State Governor, Hon. Gbajabiamila has always been an enemy of pdp lawmakers in the house of rep, most especially the out going 7th assembly. If Pdp want to be relevant in decision making of the house,in the next assembly. they should use every possible means within their reach to vote against Gbajabiamila. This will be a pay back time.
Foolish legislator,Nigeria state legislators ve sold their birth right to the state governors. They foolishly rejected a constitution amendment that will grant them their financial autonomy.
