As per the advise he is seeking, the GL 9 in both jobs does not mean they are at par. Contiss 9 is equivalent to GL 10 in the mainstream civil service but not in financial terms. The differential salarywise bw ur current job n the one u are considering should be in the region of #50,000 or thereabout. You may just take the new job, its worthwhile.

Did it occur to you that the doctor might have asked her to make contacts to somebody that will stand out for her? Before she called on the OP to come to her rescue? At that point, the doctor will in any condition relay the information to him depending on the relationship between the OP and the patient.
