Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, the Chairman of Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing (IVM) Limited, has named former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, as the major person that inspired him to manufacture SUVs and Pick-Up vans.

Chukwuma said this in a media parley with journalists in Nnewi, Anambra State, on Tuesday.

According to Chukwuma, Obi supported him by increasing demand for locally made vehicles across the country and supporting indigenous merchandise in his administration.

Peter Obi built a massive empire before he became forty. It is not by political appointments but by accomplishments. Based on accomplishments, Peter Obi is far ahead of Kwankwaso.

He was never a fraudster. Anambra state was hijacked by political strongmen. A state where a sitting Governor was kidnapped. Criminality was the order of the day. Educational and infrastructurally backward. He made the state the most secured state. He is the only Governor to declare that any house that harbours kidnap victims should be demolished and the land confiscated. Educationally, from 27th position, the state came to the 1st position.
