The process of the car igniting in the morning involve the cold start switch to warm up the engine, it help the engine to attain high temperature very quickly when starting the car in the morning

The engine is already warm at any other time of the day is the probable cause why it's not having the starting issue , and of all the suggestion you can make , cold start switch which is the plausible number 1 culprit was ommited , and straight away to changing ECU.....well-done
