He tried to leverage on that to oppose Buhari's election and reelection as president of Nigeria. But he failed.
Reno Omokri also tried to stop the now president Bola Tinubu's emergence using his social media influence. But he failed again.
Same Reno Omokri is now on the side of president Tinubu who he once lampooned, casting aspersions and desperately doing everything to stop Peter Obi's emergence as president of Nigeria with some hailing him.
If Omokri failed to stop Buhari and Tinubu, can he stop Obi?

The 35-year-old man, Sadiq Zubairu, who killed his friend and former colleague, Bello Bukar Adamu over a job scam in Kano State has been identified as the same person who berated late Hubert Wigwe's daughter, Tochi, for not standing up to greet Vice President, Kashim Shettima, during her father's funeral.

Recall that Sadiq had shared a photo of Tochi sitting while accepting a handshake from Shettima and another of former VP Yemi Osinbajo and Aliko Dangote standing to shake hands with Shettima.

“Same man, different regard. Whoever that girl is, she lacks proper home training. You don't shake a person old enough to be your father while sitting down,” he captioned the post.

LIB reported that the police arrested Sadiq for the murder of Adamu, a staff of the Kano State Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO).

The spokesperson of the command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, in a statement on Thursday, May 9, 2024, said the suspect had deceitfully collected the sum of N3m from the deceased on the pretext that he would secure a better job for him.

According to the PPRO, Sadiq confessed that he had no means of returning the money to the deceased so he hired two men, conspired with them and killed Bello.

Security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, who confirmed the latest development on Friday, said a family member of the deceased disclosed it to him.

“A family member of the deceased just contacted us on the story where he reported another version of the story. He said: “Regards the story of the guy that killed his friend, his name is Sadiq Jibrin with an active handle on X @sadiqsolar and the deceased is Bello Bukar Adamu,” he wrote.

Many family heads could not feed their home due to peanuts income in the name of minimum wage.
This is just the beginning of hardship because how could you take away subsidy and sell fuel to people from N170 to N700 but now you want to continue to pay back the subsidy. Is government going to reverse the pump price back to N170?
