Former Governor of Rivers State and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesome Wike has been blamed for the loss of 25 Rivers State House of Assembly seats.
A Pressure Group in the State at a News conference in Abuja on Tuesday, accuses the former Governor of using some Politicians in the state as cannon fodder in his ill-advised fight with his successor, Governor Siminalayi Fubara
Recall that in December, the assembly members loyal to the immediate past governor defected to the All Progressives Congress in the wake of the political impasse involving him and Governor Fubara.
Addressing Journalists in Abuja, Hon. Usman Saidu Calculus, the leader of the Rivers Pressure Group, described Wike as a saboteur working against the peace and unity of the state noting that, the former governor is blinded by his financial muscle and doesn't understand the true essence of leadership.
