I started poetry just two years ago, for I don't want to die without dyeing something. My first poetry was on nature. Heartbroken made me to realized who am I. Poetry is now my second love but still searching for the first. |
TOO MORNING TO MOURN It's too morning To be mourning The mighty fall of the elephant Might shook the wood Will it stop being wild? It's too morning To be mourning The blind might be blind What about his mind Won't he visualize with it? It's too morning To be mourning The man might be lunatic Has it been seized His homosapien license It's too morning To be mourning When it has never be A pandemic without cure Or the one without curer It's too morning To be mourning When His Highness Is still the owner Of you, me and whatever. ©Hassan Temitope, 2016 |
OUR MESSIAH Listen and be attentive You're the worst man Ever liveth or probably Shame be unto you What specie of hawk Should we group you A chicken, you can't kill And you wore the crown Of the great eagles The land is in grief You've jilted its trust Why should we again Crowd around you Or any man of your sort Our messiah we called you We pushed you up And sit you atop Behold, you came Without a christmas Our water yet unturn To wine, neither The bread could feed An ant If at all ye die You can't resurrect The gods so attested |
It may be seen as 'lowkey' wedding in other part of the country, but in sokoto(brini shehu), wedding are just like that. it's called 'salati goma', where only few relatives of the groom family will have access to enter the house where the marriage rites will take place, but you have automatic ticket to enter the house only if you are a lady. Others(mostly men) will have to hang around in the vicinity where the wedding is being taken place. |
Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto(UDUS) is exactly like that in almost all the classes. |
So no nollywood movie get quote??...God go see us |
Thumb up boss, your message is clear. I'm sorry, why not blood-print or something else that won't be more than four words as the title. I think it will make more sense sire. Just saying though |

A PHONE TO HEAVEN ...But Old man It's unbeknown to me In your tales of prevision Maybe it fled from me overtime Or in your intention to keep it covered Here it is; Lion and Tiger force together The rodents in garments of celebration, Scavengers in exercise of festivity, And all domestic zoo. On the journey to the wild The parrot relayed me that I seek ye a clear revelation Yammer to me oh wise one I know you're near. |
And osun people are there with empty stomach.. |
What are the procedure to follow for nomination |
FOR A DESERT FALCON Today calls for holiday For celebration and play Of no dismay but gay Like pot-belly men of nowadays All is brimmed in such away Tell men to go nowhere but stay Inform women to groom okay Freedom is bought for the slaves today All children should come here and play Again,is a day of joy and gay No life should be rope or slay Even animals will feed not on hay Man shall be serve with golden tray All thing set, and indeed in array Come one, come all and feel array Don't think me mad in anyway It's just a day of dance and play For a lady, bright like ray All things bow as she sway They all know it's her day She's made to never let man go astray I seek nothing from you all today But a congregation for her we pray Not only now but everyday Her wishes never be a month of sundays |
A PRICELESS GIFT My smile is an healer Even to the fools and the mad It wisen and sane them For it's all cure herbal smile A product you made me to market You thought me to live A sorrow and loneliness free one Perfumed by the golden nectar OF the tender stigma of your love You've got me lectured Of what tomorrow holds And you firmly gripped my life Leading me to no-isrealites journey A temple of gold And a pyramid of diamonds Worthless a gift for me You're a priceless present To nurture, groom till eternity |
WITHOUT AN APPEAL ChecK me out soulmate Im anew amiss hate With rays of your heart Showering friuts of love I'm a glittering star of joy Polished by chemical of care Of which a maker you're Secret to mass but plain to me Those days of mistrust Of shattered dream and promise You came and dropped by And stamped on my retina The light of the future The omen of pain and loneliness You free them for me You judged me to prison Your ward of radiant love Without filling an appeal I'm ready to labour In your jail of Hot capsule Walled with army of hope And angelic statue of eternal peace |
On a bright sunny day like, When the sun was at peak , When the windy- dusty wind of harmattan Was busy painting the whole city brown. On a day When everyone took shelters In homes and offices of theirs And all deserted the harsh streets. Not minding all this troubles, Not minding the hotness of the heaty sun A woman was willing to save a life A woman was willing to take a trip A trip that is filled up wit pains and sufferings A trip that sometimes ends with death and Sometimes happiness_"a risky trip".... The good nine-months she got her self ready For this trip, with helps and Words of, Encouragement from friends and care ones But on this day she was left on her own. Locked up in a room tagged "LABOUR", She pushed, she sweated, she visted hell She withstood all such pains Trying to bring a soul to life She was fighting to breath life, She was fighting so my birthday songs Would be on my lips this day. She fought and fought and fought, Alas- She won Happiness, she saved a life, She saved my life. Today I stand with a heart filled with joy Wit my eyes fixed right in the sky And I say '' THANK U MOM" You did a great job wit a content I am yet to meet...am sorry though,I changed somethings in ur work which I think is necessary, though many of your choice of words are retained reason been that I'm indirectly urging you to please adhere to writing of poetry in stanza to bring more traffic to ur work and try to be poetic too..also try to punctuate your work though I'm still working on it(most of my works are not punctuated)... |
BEFORE EARTHQUAKE Tomorrow will be too late I shall hide my heart no more Though heaven may fall And the earth may quake I care no more For my heart is boiling and aching And about to burst a second to come But before it bid farewell It words shall be utter Hear me out lady I'm in love with you But am in phobia to tell Maybe I might lose u forever Its never in me a sugar-coated tongue But the best heart I have Don't be cynic, accept me And light your life an heavenly love |

THE BEST GIFT FOR HER You do a girl naught If you buy her wears Full her look with gold And her bosom with 'inviting beeds' Though she may never decline All her eyes full of appreciation But her heart aches and bleeds For her want, neglected by you You want to see her real beauty Let her scribble something to you Will only read ''educate me'' Give me education Send her to learn Finance her be educated Behold an external beauty Painted with joy and peace For you just castle a nation Of intellectuals,of great minds When to a girl you enrich with Secular education and of her faith |

ALL ALONE All alone I wait, All alone I lay, All alone I cry, In my room without none, Thinking of nothing, but you. All I can hear is the cock, Alarming me of dawn, For prayer to not let my faith down, To fathom my grievances. Sigh! That's how my heart was, When I suddenly formed your image, but clearly in reality, You're still not here, But forever, I'll be here, Waiting all alone. |
THE DIVINE MATRIMONY I hailed from the west You emerged from the north Can you see the other man He's of the east and south We are never the same In circumstances of birth And of blood relation We milked from differ breast I make no sense with my tongue And you speak meaningless too Your accent is never Alike with my 'Yoruba-Yoruba' The great niger and benue Had divinely wedded each other Offspring the nation Nigeria Our land of peace, hope and progress Brother, never let it be From you or from me The killing of the progeny Of the divine matrimony |
GO I felt like dying for you, I did thee, what the wish, And leave all what I know, For thee was all I care. I dumped my passion, And ran down to you Why I'm so doing, Still puzzle me. Go away from me, Meet another a man, And treat him, As thee dose me. Take away his passion, Buy away his freedom, If for a day, Keep the still. |
WAIL NO MORE O abandoned child, In the dung-hill, What have you come, To fetch here all alone? Your mouth is yet, To ripe for speech, But the agony and tears on you cheek, Speaks you a banished fellow. Is mother that doeth ye this, Or your people forsake ye, Are you unwanted to your paternal, Or an abomination to the land? Will you rot in this rubbish, Waiting for a samaritan, That may never come by, Even when scavengers feast your flesh? Rise on your feet! Build up your world, A unique eldorado, And halt wailing on split milk. |
WAR FOR PEACE If we are to die, It shall be bloody, Our death shall no be cold; For our phenotype is same, With the so called martyrs. We shall war, With our soul, our life, And all that we have, To reign again peace. They are invincible, That's what we were told, And folded was our arm. As we watched before our eyes, Death of our tomorrow leaders, Elimination of our 'jewels', Death of our vibrant men, And the lost of our 'things'. Even if jinns they are, We are ready to face the aliens, And if human they are, We shall terminate the anti-human. No matter what it caused, No matter what it took, We are just ready, To war peace to our land. Fighting for peace is not only by been a force but dwelling in action that promote peace both internal and external peace....we pray for peace in this country and the world at large as today marks 'World Peace Day'...be a peace builder not a peace robber.. |
THE MAN I EVIED In my little years When yet to ripe For the business of the society Those days of childhood The men woke before the light Up in the hill and In the depth of the wood They laboured, till the sun turn yellow They never rest their weaken soul Even while eating the heavy pounded yam They swallowed the morsel Like heavens is after them And across the lane Leading to my learning place Lives a man with the 'world' All children dream to be Later in some years Fortune made me meet The daughter of the rich And we made relationship So, he laboured The man outstanding the men With all things of manhood Even deprived his home of affection |
Thanks bro ![]() |
STEALER OF THE SOUL Heart beating in rhythm Eyes blinking in twinkle Head think to thinkless Sub-body in severe phobia Theft is to the soul By an alien robber Till another light Shall back the soul Water from the sky The grumble sound from it And the seven colour after them Are all my witness, spoke the brave mind My words are unshakable I shall give to you all my life If ye fit me my soul Oh you stealer of the soul |
