Business / MMM Relaunches As MMM Republic by yeahmann(m): 10:43pm On Feb 10, 2018
They just won't give up. There's a new mmm site circulating on facebook they call it MMM republic. Please be careful my fellow Nigerians. Forget about providing help or giving help, it is PONZI. And all ponzis will eventually crash.

I believe this one will even be worse than the old mmm.

On their website they said members can never lose more than 5k, please stay away from it. All ponzi will crash and u will lose your life savings.

Religion / I Think We Are Hypocrites by yeahmann(m): 7:52am On Jan 11, 2018
I'm starting to believe humans are just hypocrite. And I realised this based on the comments on a thread about Sade Adu's daughter turning to a boy.

The comment goes as follow:

.... God has made you a girl and you decided to turn yourself to a boy, so you know more than your creator?

We've all had these type of statements, but I want you guys opinion on this:

1. If a child was born blind, why do you seek out remedies to make the child see? Was that not how God created him/her? Do you know more than God?

2. A child born with 2 sexes (Hermaphrodite), why do you always remove one? Was that not how God created him/her? Do you know more than God?

This is not to support transgenders, but I think there are some valid point in this thought.

The problem is most people of other tribes and region don't know more about Igbo's,.

I mean the whole of Abia state produce less than 36,000 barrels of oil per day. check your facts

For those saying there is no Oil in Igboland, let me use Izombe Oguta as an example via Wikipedia, please read.

Izombe in the northeast of Niger Delta is an oil-rich town in Njaba River basin,Imo State Southeastern Nigeria. Located in Oguta Local Government,Izombe is some 30 kilometres from Owerri and 150 kilometres north of Port Harcourt. It covers about 59 km2 in Njaba River basin, South East Nigeria. The estimated human population as of 1991 National Census was 86,565.

Oil exploration in Izombe area started in the early 1960s.Three major multinational oil companies including ChevronTexaco, Shell and Addax Petroleum operate in the area, producing over 70% of total oil from Oguta Local Government. Ossu (some 55 km south of Onitsha), Izombe and Njaba are some of the oil wells in the area. By end of Q4 of 2008, Addax Petroleum Corporation announced it was set to expand its Operations in the Njaba River basin through its new oil discovery in its Njaba field in the neighbouring Awo-Omamma town. The new discovery in the company's OML124 license area on the Northeast edge of the Niger Delta contains undeveloped Njaba 2 well onshore Nigeria and other exploratory prospects, On February 5, 2015, Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc ("Seplat" or the "Company"wink, announced that it has completed the acquisition of a 40.00% working interest in OML 53 in the area from Chevron Nigeria Limited ("CNL"wink with NNPC holding the remaining 60.00% interest in Oil Mining License block
It produces less than 36,000 barrels per day. And nigeria produces over 2 million barrels per day. Is that what you call oil?

You are a Yoruba man from osun. First you opened an account claiming to be from urhobo and started this topic, you got banned, immediately you got banned you used your original moniker and claimed it is your friend's own which you borrowed.

Mr man, it is very clear that you are a two faced lying hypocrite from osun state!

So you concluded that I'm from Osun state based on this post:
Brezil:
I think it's Osun State University. Mehn there are lots of rich kids there. If your parents are not rich, you will just feel oppressed, and start thinking of how to get fast money.

Feck! The students are so rich, spending N500 in a day is nothing to them

Have you ever heard of the word Sarcasm? I bet you've not. You people are so pathetic. You think its only the Yorubas that find you irritating? You better change your ways. Everyone is becoming your enemy.

Please tell me who a hero is?

And who voted in yoruba in 1999 and 2003?

What re we getting back in return?

U become a leader wen u do d people's wish not fight for ur self and sell out your people for ur own interest.

What is your wish? Biafra? You know that will not happen without a serious war. And it's not only in Nigeria, it's all over the world. No country would allow a part of it to secede without strong resistance.

When the war comes are you ready to fight it? Forget what Kanu and others are saying. It's easier to agitate for war if your family and loved ones won't be at the war front.

If you are going to secede without bloodshed, you need igbos to be in powerful federal positions. And no tribe can be elected president without the support of at least another major tribe. That's why you guys need to support Rochas. Politics is not played with hard stance. Sometimes you need to compromise in order to achieve a greater goal

How many cups of oil dose the urhobos own?

What exactly have u done to cure the hatred btw the urhobos? Btw the uwvians, and the okpe and the other minorities?

U claim warri to be urs while u re a slave. The istekiries have invaded and captured all your lands and make decisions in all your local governments and senatorial districts.

Yet you ignore all these and chose to cear another man's farm?

Your roads are the worst in thw whole of the federation, your people's stupidity have chased all companies out to ph and lagos, your youths dnt go to school, dey rather be on d street and waiting for the messiah and involve in crime.

Your people celebrate a criminal who have bin locked in jail in another man's land as a demi go(Ibori).

You have the worst government in the human race and no body seems to understand politics from your side, no body seems to ask questions, no body seems to care, rather you want to share the money.

You people are the most hopeless race in Africa as a whole.

You are not into farming, not education, no business, just master of nothing.

So fix ur life dude and be happy

Most of the things you said here are right. But we don't BLAME others for our own woes. We accept responsibility for our own shortcomings.

You IGBOs need to grow up. And for once, accept responsibility for your political failures.

You all hate Rochas Okorochas, when in fact he should be your HERO. Do you think you can win a presidential election without the support of other major tribes? That's where the Hausa's are wise. Even with their large population, they know they can't win unless they have support.

Instead of you to be courting other tribes for support, you are further alienating yourselves with your secessionist chants.

Op am 4rm oguta in IMO state. In ma LGA dia are AGIP,CHEVRON fields ,companies ..no lies I swear dis am a pipe line landlord. Ma dad is a chief one of his friends who is also a chief from the hamlet 3 hamlets. Next 2 ours the man is an oil well landlord so I wonder if the oil you talking about is different from d 1 I no maybe diz companies are drilling palm oil in oguta ohaji/egbema....

Like I said, igboland has no oil! Chevron and Agip also has offices in Lagos, does that mean they produce oil? And what oil are you even talking of? Even Borno state is susceptible to hold some oil reserves, does that mean it's economically explorable? And as reported by NNPC, the only two igbo states with oil, Imo and Abia, produce less than 4% of Nigeria's production. Is that what you call oil?

Why is there so much hate in this country? Why can't you all just stop fighting and realize that no tribe is superb but together we can complement our deficiencies?

I didn't create this thread out of spite. The reason why I created it is because most of my Igbo friends believe they are suffering because *Nigeria is sharing their oil. They have been made to believe this country is exploiting their resources, whereas it doesn't even exist.

Delta is not igbo land but some parts are.
Isoko is isoko, igbo is igbo we know our boundary and it does not include isoko.
That's what I'm saying. IGBOs are found in delta, but they are minorities. So why include us in your struggle

This is the OP. I was banned for expressing myself, so I'm using a friends account to comment.

Firstly, this thread is not meant to trash any tribe. It's just a plead from a Niger-Deltan to the IGBOs.

We are not IGBOs! Don't claim us in your struggle. These are your states: Annambra, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo. In any other states where you are found, you are MINORITIES there. Just like yoruba tribes can be found in Edo state, and some parts of Rivers state, does that make the states a Yoruba land?

Someone was even mentioning delta state. It's an insult to we deltans for IGBOs to claim Delta is an Igbo land. Where do you put the Ijaws, the Itsekiris, the Urhobos?
