Thank you, This is it.... Jman06: By sacking the minister of health and appointing an unbiased healthcare administrator who is not a medical doctor.
By sacking all the Chief medical directors of our public hospitals and appointing unbiased managers with qualifications in Management.
By creating separate directorates for the different professional groups rendering expert services in the hospitals e.g, directorate of medical services (to be headed by a physician), directorate of nursing services to be headed by a nurse, directorate of pharmaceutical services to be headed by a Pharmacist, directorate of med lab services to be headed by a medical lab scientist etc.
All the heads of directorate will enjoy equal rights and privileges and will be answerable to the Manager.
The different professional groups should be given the opportunity to grow in their fields and earn a decent living just as what obtains in the international community. |

This is a selfish and unprofessional talk. Have you made your research on other countries health administration and wages structures? Can a doctor work without others. In a saner clime... you'll see a team of medical professionals including doctors, nurses, pharmacists and others working to solve health issues. But here in Nigeria, doctors see nurses and other health practitioners as slaves or errand people who they can order around. The bogus salary they earn gives them the advantage to study more, research, attend conferences and seminars...but other health workers are paid lower that they can't afford to upgrade on their expertise... A few to mention among these challenges that should be tackled once and for all the health sector GavelSlam: Accept the hierarchy within the medical establishment.
The doctor is supremo and must be at the top of the pyramid.
The doctor would always earn more and rightly so.
Other members of the enterprise must be adequately remunerated.
Everyone must come to terms with his/her role, importance and collaborative necessity. |

Spots on alBHAGDADI: Very wrong.
That water hemlock, irrespective of how poisonous it is, can still be used for good. It can be used to make pesticides to kill insects and rodents destroying crops.
But when a man decides to use it to kill an innocent man, the fault can't be placed on the hemlock nor God. The fault lies solely on the evil man that used God's creation for evil.
It's simple as creating a car and giving it to someone to drive. Driving the car about does him good. But when he decides to intentionally ram the vehicle into a large crowd at the bus stop, can you blame the car or the person who gave him? No. You blame the evil man behind the steering wheel. |

Uncle, perish this satanic mentality. Emancipate yourself from this kind of routine believe system. Where do you put the grace of God ? Even the acclaimed cursed Egypt is better of Nigeria, economy wise. Every curse and covenant have been nailed with Christ on the cross. Johncuppa: You won't understand if you haven't been there. Fall and die prayer is what Paul termed warfare prayer and what Jesus meant by binding and losing. It is more severe in Africa than other parts of continent because of the terrain of things here - our lands are demons possessed than any other places and thus the high rate of wickedness of powers and principalities and the only language devil understand is power. It is either you kill them or they kill you if you ever fall victim of them but you see, this part of Christianity is best understand through experience, until then, it means nonsense to you.
Don't ever think the likes of Adeboye, Oyedepo, Olukoya, all of international standards are jobless to focus praying "fall and die prayer". Life occurrences, situations and circumstances drove them into it. |

This is a good development. Most of their activities are not productive rather, they only recycle resources. MrMcJay: Beautiful
Churches should be placed in a special taxable category. The tax is not based on their income but on the property they occupy. You can't have a 12-storey church in Victoria Island and refuse to pay tax cos it's a church.
All these agbaya churches that have hundreds of parishes but don't have a single orphanage or hospital. Even their mediocre schools are designed to cater to the children of the rich.
Guys, you know the funny thing, these Muslims and Christian leaders would soon issue a joint press release. When money is involved, no religion o. Greed unites them.
