So I decided get a car from a US auction site. Before proceeding with it, I contacted Mr. Banji in order to know the clearing cost. He posted the different cost for full duty on Toyota Camry 07-11.

Fast forward to Nov 2019. Vehicle arrived I called Mr. Banji to inquire how we can begin the clearing process, only for him to tell me that the clearing cost has increased. He carefully and patiently explained how the increase came about, I just told him that the initial price he told me is actually what i budgeted for. I screenshot the chat i had with him some months earlier where he gave the cost.
He told me he will see what he can do about it.

Next day, he called that he will proceed to clear the car at the initial cost....he actually started the process without getting any financial commitments from me.

All the while, he kept me updated on the progress. I sent him 50% of the cost, after the car was out of the port, I balanced up.

The car came with a very minor dent on one of the rear doors that I needed fixed. Banji suggested a panel beater to fix it (the guy did a very nice job too).

Mr. Banji took out time every day to go check on the progress of the job at the spray painter and kept me updated. He got me the guy for the vehicle registration, monitored the progress and collected the documents/License plates . He also got the driver to deliver the car to me down south.

My experience was very smooth

I am 100% satisfied with his services.

I recommend him to anyone that needs a clearing agent.

No, we cant absolve him. This sounds to me like he's culpable.

Hello house. Some of you might be familiar with this username. I'm the guy who was on this platform months ago asking which of the cars to buy and start a transport business b/w toyota and honda.

Thanks to moderator who moved the topic to fp and i got the answer i needed.

I bought a vehicle 'bus 18seater' and kicked off the business. The business has been filled with pains and joy but i always keep my head up.

Two days ago the car failed break so i parked it by the road hoping to return the next day with a mechanic since it was night. Coming the next day, electric pole and fence fell on the bus and damaged it beyond repairs.

The cause of the accident is as a result of the gutter a construction company dug.

Should i sue d company? What should i do. Am confused and depressed. 60% of the money i used in buying the bus was a loan. I haven't paid it.

Pls lawyers in nl advice me.

Who saw the ring that was dropped on the field when they faced Morocco. This people believe in Juju a lot. No wonder they don't have star players. Yeah, you did what a sensible person should do. That's business since he didn't instruct you to go that way before hand.

Different strokes different folks for real. Some clients go ballistic if you don't buy with a 'little' increase against budget (see screenshot with a client of mine attached, apologies boss when you see this).

Time, effort, experience, tax etc are expended purchasing vehicle so why would anyone seriously believe the agent helping anyone to buy is not entitled to a commission, is the agent running a charity organization on a mission to 'vehicle-lize' the society .

If your car is Honda Accord then you will soon have your tire pull out. Take it to mechanic for repair before it’s too late.
