Ok, let me tell you what you did wrong because of next time, the tv box is rated 5v2a, while decoder is 12v1.5a-2a, you can't use a higher volt DC to power a lower volt, that's why you burnt the tv box, the amps doesn't matter but the volt does. Anything solar without proper regulator will always burn fragile low-power devices like tv box because the power fluctuates. Assuming it's NEPA light the box might not even get burnt. The repair is 50/50 if you happen to give a quack and they mess it up just say bye-bye.

Hopefully it's not too fried that it cnt be fixed in Nigeria. How did you connect it? Using the power cord or a USB CORD?

My guy smell the power plug. reason I stopped with MiTV box.
