Well I never wrote with BC so I really cant make any comparisons but the way people run from BC to IDP and IDP to BC makes me wonder...that's why I emphasize PRACTICE. bankyh1905: But not necessarily the same in exam setting. I've experienced both IDP and BC's testing protocols and the latter was better. I wrote with IDP (on July 28, 2018 on the mainland) and I passed the first time, but that was the most stressful exam day I've had - the examiners acted like amateurs, thereby wasting our time and the headsets had a disturbing background noise which they proclaimed was "normal". That made the listening part harder than it should have been. Anyway, like I said, that was my experience. Others can share their experiences.
Also, EOR for BC is 15k while IDP is 46+. Make your choice. |

I'll refer the person to pratice, practice, practice very well for the exam. I don't know why we bother so much about idp/ bc. IMO, they are the same in terms of the exam questions and examiners. Caddy123: Idp or bc for ielts, which one can you easily refer to someone who is interested in writing IELTS? |

Oh that's cool...am glad you did not hastily decline that ITA. Lesson: Ask questions before taking a major decision if you're confused. Na this type of questions we wan dey see...not questions like what is CRS..lols Homextras: So I didn't decline the ITA.
Thanks for the divergent advises. God bless and answer our heart desires. |

@screenshots Lols...I can even see my moniker in the NL search bar ooo...I can remember I gave a detailed explanation about it. Now he/she knows how to do it. But sadly, more of this type will still come up. #sighs NanaF: Stop insulting someone who’s telling you the truth. It’s either you do not know how to use google or you just don’t care for it. There’s some basic questions like the one you asked that just end up clogging the thread. Google has even tried, most times, they summarize the answer nicely at the top. Again, I got this in under 5 seconds.
Same with the Nairaland search bar. |

Have you simulated your CRS? If your score is high enough to fetch you ITA, he may not need ECA. If not, then he 'll need ECA. Secondly, he doesn't need to create an EE profile. His details will be included in your profile. Codyella: Hello Everyone.
I am new to this and I have read the whole damn thread phewww♀️ I have a question. I want to go with my husband. I am the principal applicant and I understand that he must also take the IELTS exam. But, must he do ECA? Also, does he need to open an EE profile?
Thank you for your response |

Yes, you can if you don't have less than 6 in any of the modules. In other words, the minimum score is 6 in all modules to be eligible to create a profile. Plus, is your ECA ready? If not, you'll need it to create an express entry profile. cyrilomonjeva: Good morning Elders in the House,
Thanks for all your useful information and advises.
Just got my IELTS result,my band score was 6.5,is it ok to go ahead and create an express entry profile now and update with a better result when I write a retake in two weeks time or should I wait till I get a better band score.
Please,I am awaiting your kind response.

The guys score is 1033 (Ontario PNP). So i think @gsade's advice is still cool. cc: homextras, gsade hayoakins: LOE will not address this kind of issue if his recomputed score will be lower than the draw for which he for ITA. It is simply misrepresentation as it has direct impact on the score. Age plays a major part in CSR allocation. It is better for him to reject the ITA.
The probability of being rejected should he accept the ITA is high and he may also be winking at a 5year ban for mispresentation for selfish gain.
He may however accept if when the score is recomputed based on the real age it will not be less than the draw for which he was issued ITA. |

Ofcourse it worked for him...check out his post in page 434. majamisile: This is why I love this thread, if this works for him as you have advised, people who had documentation issues like this when they indeed sent their document(s) through the right channel can always follow suite and may also likely get similar result. @shoeshineguy please let us know if this suggestion works for you so that this can be conveniently moved to first page by our indefatigable Excos. Did you send them an evidence of payment via email together with a scanned copy of your passport's biodata page. WiseYoungMan: Hello guys,
Please I registered for IELTS on Thursday last week, I made payment at Zenith Bank via bank transfer option. The officials said I could make payment through my mobile app, which I did.
Now the issue is that I just got an email saying my booking has been cancelled because they haven't received my payment.
Please has anyone experienced this? how can I go about reversal? And what's the best way to make payment going forward? |
