Grades are not evaluated..they just need to be sure you wrote WAEC. Your grade is none of their business. elohim24: Good day my good people here... please I need some guidance on my Wes evaluation. 1. I have a master's degree which I intend to apply for the transcript soon. 2. Where I have issue is my O level results... I had all my subjects in Waec except English which I had pass. 3. I had mathematics, English, economics and government in neco. Which of the O level result should I evaluate because the stress of evaluating both is too much for my schedule.
Thanks in anticipation for the response |

Page 1 has all the answers and even more Icecreamy: Good evening, Please can someone be kind enough to give the full meaning of all these abbreviations I am seeing on various posts; ITA, AOR, POF, WEB FORM, MEP/BIL, CSE, LOE, PPR, VO, GCMS etc.
Secondly I need an advice concerning primary NOC, is it okay to have job descriptions not relating to your degree as I have never taken any job in my field of study.
Thanks |

Good day my beautiful e-fam,
Reading previous posts about IELTS results and what people attributes to their success. I'll like to say that we should stop being judgemental and criticizing those who wrote the exam and aced it once or after several attempts. And whatever anyone says is the reason for his success..its none of anybody's business and not for us to judge. What works for me might not work for you and vice-versa. So instead of throwing shades at each other, why don't we look for ways to help each other succeed. While I was attempting this exam, I was also tutoring some people in the reading module and some of them had aced it even before me the tutor. Many of them never knew I was still writing too. When we rejoice with others, good things will come to us too.
Secondly, please there is no fail or pass in IELTS. IRCC did not even say you must have 8777. For some, they must even get higher than these scores to get a higher CRS. For others, they don't even need 8777 if they have a Canadian work experience or even a job offer from Canada. If someone keeps scoring 6 or 6.5 in the Writing module, it does not mean the person does not know or understand English. So let's stop attacking each other, rather divert your energy into rendering selfless service to others. That is what the Indians are doing.
In this Canny waka, its not how far but how well. We will all celebrate at the end.
Gracias. |

Anyone, they are the same. The only difference is the cost of Registration & remark. Euchi: Hello everyone. I'm sorry to disturb you on this; I've heard things about how one ielts body is tougher than the other from some people and i think it's better to hear from people with experience. My question is, Between BC and MOD which will you encourage someone to take ielts with? I wouldnt mind if you give your reasons too ASAP pls |

Thank you. What I usually do is to analyse my Task 2 first...write down my points...then start with Task 1 and if I remember more points..I go back to Task 2 to jot it down. As soon as am done with Task 1..I ll just begin to develop the points I jotted down for Task 2. However, I 've also tried the strategy you mentioned but I prefer the one I stated. Magnifico2000: This is really inspiring. You were really determined there. Someone told me that it is better to do Task 2 of Writing first then later do the task 1 later. Did u try this strategy at all? |

MY PR JOURNEY PART 2- IELTS (a.k.a The humbler of men & women)
Hello my beautiful e-fam,
All Praise and Glory be to God who makes all things possible in his own due time. Its IELTS breakthrough... Am so happy I've crossed this hurdle. The journey has been a tough one. I 've decided to share my timeline to encourage someone out there.
TIMELINE:
1st: (Nov 10 2018) LRSW- 7.5,7,7.5,7
2nd: (Dec 15 2018) LRSW- 7.5,6.5,6.5,7
3rd: (Jan 19 2019) LRSW- 8.5,6.5,7,7
4th: (Feb 9 2019) LRSW- 8,6,7,6.5
5th: (April 27, 2019) LRSW- 7.5,8,8,7.5
6th: (May 23, 2019) LRSW- 7,8,7,7,5,7
7th: (July 6th, 2019) LRSW- 8,7,7,7.5
All MOD IDP (LAGOS Mainland)
No REMARK
LESSONS LEARNT:
1) Prayer is the key; however faith without works is dead. I mean hard work ooo. if you can fast sef....pls do. God factor in this waka cannot be overruled.
2)To the 'otondos' (first timers) please do not rush or put yourself under undue pressure to sit for the test. Take your time until you are fully ready and prepared. Never underestimate any module of the test. I underestimated reading thinking shebi its just reading without practicing and so reading also decided to pay me back in my own coin.
3) Practice! Practice!! Practice!!!. The importance of practice in ALL modules cannot be over emphasized. Practice like your life depended on it.
4) Never be over confident. Its easy to think because one is a native speaker, the test would be really easy. That's not true at all so don't relax. Its not the regular Nija contextual English (lols dts wat hubby calls it). I can boldly tell you that IELTS humbled me.
5) Dont give up especially when you dont get your desired result in the first attempt..its normal to feel discouraged and downhearted, but giving up is not an option. Never feel that you are an 'olodo'. There is no fail or pass in the test. Like hubby will always tell me 'we die here', lols but thank God we did not die here.
6) Be prepared financially...its a real investment.
7) You can ACE IELTS...its is not impossible.
ACCOLADES:
I'll like to say a big THANK YOU to my tutors because with God's help, they made this possible. Thank you for making out time to render free, selfless service on how to ace IELTS. May God bless you and grant you all your heart desires.
@wasseynewest: IELTS writing (task 1 & 2) boss....Yes he is the Lord of IELTS structure.
To my Le boo...he is the Chairman of Silent Readers Association..lols. @immunno...thank you dear for believing so much in me...you are the real MVP.
Made very good friends from this beautiful e-fam too....thanks guyss. God bless you for your support and encouragement. We will all celebrate lass lass.
For practice I used ieltsonlinetest.com, Cambridge books from YouTube. Watched some speaking tests on YouTube as well. Used Jay, Liz.
P.s: Here's the "5 P's" i have learnt to adopt as my guide Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance
