Good afternoon house,

I would like some pointers, @hotstepper, kindly indulge me. As someone going to Toronto as a new PR and pregnant, what can be done about accessing medical services during the 3 month wait period? Also, can you assist with getting permanent accommodation in the GTA, prefarably the Oakville, Burlington region? I tried to send you a personal message but I'm not sure it went through, I have some other more private questions that I would like to ask too. Thanks in advance.

Food / Have You Tried Making Your Own Golden Eggs Yet? by Yemiolads(f): 3:45pm On Sep 21, 2015
A golden egg is just something different from the regular boiled egg that has the egg-white part and the yolk inside it. It's different just because the albumen and yolk were thoroughly mixed up before cooking and so it ends up yellow (or golden according to the Japanese) - yeah, that simple! Golden eggs are particularly good for picky eaters, especially children who either won't eat egg yolk or egg-white. Now, they will eat it all! This is how you make a golden egg:

All you need to make a Golden egg is:
a raw egg
one leg of socks/stockings

Slip the egg into the stockings and place it half way between the toe and the opening.

Now we scramble! Grab the ends of the nylons, one end in each hand, with the egg suspended in the middle. Begin to twist the nylon around the egg, about 20-25 twists. When it is fully twisted, pull the ends of the nylon apart quickly. The nylon should untwist itself, spinning the egg rapidly.
To check if your egg is properly scrambled, go to a dark room and shine a flashlight through your egg. An unscrambled egg will appear bright and yellow, and you may even see a shadow inside cast by the (still intact) yolk. A properly scrambled egg will be a much darker red color, since the yolk is now mixed with the albumen.

Put the eggs in a pot of lukewarm water until they are just covered. Boil for 6 minutes and then turn off the heat and soak in cold water to stop the cooking (and keep your hands safe).

Golden eggs are usually more difficult to peel than regular ones. To prevent the egg from peeling off with the shell, use the back of a spoon to gently break the shell into small pieces, and then peel it while submerged in a pot of cold water.

Try it out, you'll like it!

Watch a video of how it's done here: http://www.opeyemioladotun..com.ng/2015/09/for-love-of-food-how-to-make-golden-eggs.html

Food / How To Make Perfect Crunchy Fried Chicken That Will Make You Bite Your Tongue by Yemiolads(f): 11:04am On Aug 12, 2015
The last time my sister was pregnant, all she wanted to eat was KFC chicken (you understand how a pregnant woman's cravings are). Trust yours truly, I shared her precious chicken with her most of the time until I got quite hooked on the chicken myself - that crusty delight on the outside that had a juicy sweetness inside, plus the fact that the chicken actually just falls off the bone into your mouth and even the bones are perfectly edible, if you want to go that far.

Needless to say, I have been wanting to replicate hat exact kind of chicken at home. I think I finally found out how it's done!
chicken + eggwash + flour + black pepper + red pepper + salt + cayenne pepper + garlic powder + onion powder + ground mixed herbs + instant potato mash powder = the perfect crunchy chicken!

Close enough to KFC chicken, now I can save money and eat chicken the way I love it! Yum!!!

Food / 5 Foods You Should Never Ever Microwave - Watchout For No 3 by Yemiolads(f): 3:05pm On Jun 09, 2015
Microwaves have proven themselves to be very useful kitchen helpers, however, proper caution must be followed when using microwaves. Although you can microwave almost anything, there are certain things you should never microwave. This piece is not just for the love of food, it's also for the love of health and safety. Take a look at 5 food that should never come close to a microwave.

1. Defrosted Meat

Some microwaves rotate and some do not, which can lead to uneven distributions of cooking and thawing. Frozen meat is a tough thing to have to defrost in a microwave, as it can take so long that it becomes very easy to start cooking it. Edges of meats can start to cook and turn brown while the inside remains frozen.

Japanese researches found that meats cooked longer than 6 minutes in a microwave also lost half of its vitamin B-12 content. The best thawing tips are to let it defrost in a fridge overnight or thaw under cold, running water.

2. Frozen Fruit

This has always been a big time saver. Buying frozen foods is actually not a bad idea as the flash freezing process can help preserve the nutrients of the fruit. Fruit immediately starts losing nutrients the moment it is picked.

It’s never a good idea to put fruit in the microwave. Grapes, for example, will explode, and raisins send off so much plasma that they can ruin your microwave.

Frozen fruit is best thawed in a fridge or simply on a counter top at room temperature.

3. Breast Milk

Busy mothers sometimes have to use a breast pump to extract milk for their babies, and sometimes, it seems like a good idea to pump out a lot and refrigerate or freeze it. However, re heating it using a microwave is harmful! A key benefit of providing a newborn breast milk is being able to introduce the baby to powerful bacteria-fighting agents that are contained within the milk.

The Journal of Pediatrics ran tests on 22 samples of frozen breast milk heated in a microwave on either low or high heat and found that breast milk heated on high heat showed greater E-coli growth. This was 18 times higher than the milk heated without a microwave.

The samples microwaved at lower temperatures dramatically decreased isozyme activity as well as promoted the growth of harmful bacteria for babies

4. Eggs (with the shells)

Eggs intact in their shells or boiled eggs. The problem, WebMD reports, is the pressure builds up in the sealed egg "container," which can cause it to explode (even if the boiled egg is peeled). Best to pierce the egg in multiple spots before nuking.

5. Hot Peppers

Hot peppers, dried or raw can't withstand the microwave and their juices are very dangerous once out, they can even catch fire. Don't microwave dry materials

Romance / Excellent Marriage Advice From A Divorced Man After 16 Years Of Marriage by Yemiolads(f): 9:46am On Jun 06, 2015
1. Never stop courting. Never stop dating. NEVER EVER take that woman for granted. When you asked her to marry you, you promised to be that man that would OWN HER HEART and to fiercely protect it. This is the most important and sacred treasure you will ever be entrusted with. SHE CHOSE YOU. Never forget that, and NEVER GET LAZY in your love.

2. Protect your own heart. Just as you committed to being the protector of her heart, you must guard your own with the same vigilance. Love yourself fully, love the world openly, but there is a special place in your heart where no one must enter except for your wife. Keep that space always ready to receive her and invite her in, and refuse to let anyone or anything else enter there.

3. Fall in love over and over again. You will constantly change. You’re not the same people you were when you got married, and in five years you will not be the same person you are today. Change will come, and in that you have to re-choose each other everyday. SHE DOESN’T HAVE TO STAY WITH YOU, and if you don’t take care of her heart, she may give that heart to someone else or seal you out completely, and you may never be able to get it back. Always fight to win her love just as you did when you were courting her.

full story on www.opeyemioladotun..com

4. Always see the best in her. Focus only on what you love. What you focus on will expand. If you focus on what bugs you, all you will see is reasons to be bugged. If you focus on what you love, you can’t help but be consumed by love. Focus to the point where you can no longer see anything but love, and you know without a doubt that you are the luckiest man on earth to be have this woman as your wife.

5. It’s not your job to change or fix her… your job is to love her as she is with no expectation of her ever changing. And if she changes, love what she becomes, whether it’s what you wanted or not.

6. Take full accountability for your own emotions: It’s not your wife’s job to make you happy, and she CAN’T make you sad. You are responsible for finding your own happiness, and through that your joy will spill over into your relationship and your love.

7. Never blame your wife if you get frustrated or angry at her, it is only because it is triggering something inside of YOU. They are YOUR emotions, and your responsibility. When you feel those feelings take time to get present and to look within and understand what it is inside of YOU that is asking to be healed. You were attracted to this woman because she was the person best suited to trigger all of your childhood wounds in the most painful way so that you could heal them… when you heal yourself, you will no longer be triggered by her, and you will wonder why you ever were.

8. Allow your woman to just be. When she’s sad or upset, it’s not your job to fix it, it’s your job to HOLD HER and let her know it’s ok. Let her know that you hear her, and that she’s important and that you are that pillar on which she can always lean. The feminine spirit is about change and emotion and like a storm her emotions will roll in and out, and as you remain strong and unjudging she will trust you and open her soul to you… DON’T RUN-AWAY WHEN SHE’S UPSET. Stand present and strong and let her know you aren’t going anywhere. Listen to what she is really saying behind the words and emotion.

9. Be silly… don’t take yourself so damn seriously. Laugh. And make her laugh. Laughter makes everything else easier.

10. Fill her soul everyday… learn her love languages and the specific ways that she feels important and validated and CHERISHED. Ask her to create a list of 10 THINGS that make her feel loved and memorize those things and make it a priority everyday to make her feel like a queen.

Crime / You Need To See What This Crazy Woman Did To Her Own Baby! by Yemiolads(f): 1:51pm On Jun 03, 2015
All in the name of a joke!

According to a popular saying in this part of the World, "wonders shall never end!" Arya Dela Cruz Francisco thought she had an excellent sense of humor when she put her baby on a dog leash, made him eat from a bowl like a dog, taking pictures of him and sharing them on Facebook and called him her new pet! Arya doesn't think it's so funny anymore now that she has been taken into custody.

One mother in the Philippines was hunted down by authorities after posting a picture to Facebook of her toddler son eating out of a dog food bowl on a leash, calling it a "joke."
The good part of the story is that this mother's Facebook friends appear to have a balanced sense of right and wrong. As soon as the disturbing photos were posted to Facebook of a mother calling her child "her new pet," they went viral for all the wrong reasons. Facebook users were outraged, and authorities in the Philippines vowed to track the woman down.

Computers / Top 10 jobs that are being taken over by robots! by Yemiolads(f): 8:41am On Jun 01, 2015
10. Electrical and Electronic Equipment Assemblers

Electrical and electronic equipment assemblers have a 95.1% chance of being automated.

Robots are becoming critical to the production process of electronics because of their precision and accuracy. They are being used to do things such as: load solar wafers into solar cells, place LED light bulbs, and inspect circuit boards, as reported by the Robotics Industries Association.

9. Jewelers and Precious Stone Metal Workers

Jewelers and precious stone and metal workers have a 95.5% chance of being automated.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts their employment to decline 10% between now and 2022 as robots begin assisting in the manufacturing and repairing of jewelry.

8. Restaurant Cooks

Restaurant cooks have a 96.3% chance of being automated.

A noodle-slicing robot named Foxbot can be found at Dazzling Noodles, an open-kitchen restaurant chain in North China's Shanxi province. There's another robot chef making crab bisque from scratch, thanks to 20 motors, 24 joints, and 129 sensors. The robot, designed by Moley Robotics, can complete the complicated dish in 30 minutes and even plates it.

7. Cashiers

Cashiers have a 97.1% chance of being automated.

Panera Bread announced that it will have replaced all of its cashiers with kiosks by 2016, according to a USA Today article. Additionally, self-checkout machines are continuing to spring up in grocery stores around the world.

6. Fashion Models

Surprisingly, fashion models have a 97.6% chance of being automated.

In addition to "taking over" fashion model jobs, robots are performing in other surprising ways, such as acting. Engineered Arts, a British company, has created a fully interactive and multilingual robot called the RoboThespian, which can hold eye contact, guess a person's mood and age, and break into song.

5. Drivers

Drivers have a 97.8% chance of being automated.

Drivers and chauffeurs won't be needed for much longer. Google's self-driving test cars have driven thousands of miles without human intervention. Also, Uber CEO Travis Kalanick loves the idea of autonomous vehicles and announced that Uber will eventually be replacing all of its drivers with cars that drive themselves.

4. Referees and Umpires

Umpires and referees have a 98.3% chance of being automated.

In professional tennis, a computerized umpire called Hawk Eye is already being used to help the chief umpire make close line calls. Players have the option of "challenging" a call, in which the Hawk Eye system will display where the ball landed and whether it was in or out. Its decisions are final.

Hawk Eye represents just one system being used to solve disputes in sports.

3. Bank Tellers

Tellers have a 98.3% chance of being automated.

Chances are you haven't used a human bank teller in a while. ATMs already provide most of the services that tellers offer.

2. Timing-Device Assemblers and Adjusters

Timing device assemblers and adjusters have a 98.5% chance of being automated.

Machines are now able to perform the precise assembling, adjusting, or calibrating that timing device assemblers specialize in.

1. Telemarketers

Telemarketers have a 99% chance of being automated.

Many of today's cold-callers are not human. Robots can not only perform the job 24/7, but they can also maintain energy and perkiness no matter how many rude consumers they interact with.

Jokes Etc / Hilarious! South African Vs Nigerian by Yemiolads(f): 6:19pm On May 25, 2015
A South African walked into a restaurant in Pretoria. As soon as he entered, he immediately noticed a Nigerian man sitting in the corner. So he walked over to the counter, removed his wallet and shouted, "Waiter! I am buying food for everyone in this restaurant, except that NIGERIAN over there!"

So the waiter collected the money from the man and began serving free food to everyone in the restaurant, except the Nigerian. However, instead of becoming upset, the Nigerian simply looked up at the South African and shouted, "Thank you!"

That infuriated the man. So once again, the South African took out his wallet and shouted, "Waiter! This time I am buying bottles of wine and additional food for everyone in this bar, except for that NIGERIAN sitting in the corner over there!"

So the waiter collected the money from the man and began serving free food and wine to everyone in the bar except the Nigerian. When the waiter finished serving the food and drinks, once again, instead of becoming angry, the Nigerian man simply smiledat the South African and shouted, "Thank you!"

That made the South African man furious. So he leaned over on the counter and said to the waiter, "What is wrong with that Nigerian? I have bought food and drinks for everyone in this bar except for him, but instead of becoming upset or angry, he just sits there and smiles at me and shouts 'Thank you.' Is he mad"

The waiter smiled at the South African and said, "No, he is not mad. He is the OWNER of this restaurant!"

Food / Re: Cook In Your Kitchen, Take Pictures And Post It Here. SIMPLE! by Yemiolads(f): 6:16pm On May 25, 2015
Another plantain recipe that makes too much sense! Plantain soup

1 semi ripe/just ripe plantain (cubed)
2 medium size tomatoes (cubed)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 medium sized onion (chopped)
Baked beans (optional)
2 teaspoons olive or groundnut oil
A handful of thinly sliced green/spring onions (optional)
A dash of curry
A dash dried ground pepper
1/4 teaspoons flour
1 seasoning cube
Salt to taste
Any protein (beef, fish, goat meat, shrimps, etc. cooked)

How To Make It:

Preheat a pot and add in the oil, let the oil heat up a bit and then add in the cubed onions and garlic. Stir fry until the onion becomes translucent.

Add in 1 cup water, curry, pepper, seasoning cube and salt. Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil, add in the diced tomatoes, spring onions and plantain, reduce the heat and leave to cook for 15 minutes. Add the baked beans last (so they don't get too soft).

Taste and adjust the soup for seasoning, add in the flour (this is to thicken the soup), and your slices of protein and let it simmer for another 4 minutes. If the soup isn't thick enough, add in a little more flour. Be sure to wait about 3 minutes after the first flour addition though, it takes a few mins for the soup to thicken.

Bon Appetit

Literature / New Short Story: The River At My Doorstep by Yemiolads(f): 5:42pm On May 23, 2015
Olaitan was deep in sleep and having one of his best dreams ever. In the dream, he was a Kung Fu fighter and he was fighting alongside Jackie Chan and Stephen Segal. Their mission was to rescue the abducted daughter of some top US politician from a dangerous terrorist group. Laitan had just landed a scissors kick that broke the neck of his opponent when he felt the rough, insistent tapping on his arm. He opened his eyes reluctantly and saw his sister's face above him. Laitan grunted, he should have known it was just a dream, but those moves felt so real!

Laitan knew his sister was saying something, but he couldn't exactly make out the words. He closed his eyes and rolled over away from the sound of her nagging voice. He hoped he would be able to fall asleep and continue his dream from where he left off. But Olaide just wouldn't let him be, she was shaking him now, and then he heard what she was saying. Olaitan sat up quickly. He realized that the noise he had been hearing hadn't been from his fight, but from the sound of thunder, strong winds and heavy rainfall outside. It was raining heavily, and that only meant one thing here - flood!

Immediately Olaide saw he was awake, she had left to go do other things. Olaitan jumped out of bed and quickly shut his windows, then he hurried out of the room to join the others. His parents were gathering buckets already, in case the water began to enter from underneath the door, his sister was getting rags from around the house to stuff under the front door. Everyone was moving around with urgency. Olaitan looked up at the clock in the sitting room, it was only 4 am. Suddenly, the power went off. Olaitan knocked against the furniture as he fumbled about to find a lamp.

Olaitan and his sister pressed their faces against the windows, trying to see how bad the situation was outside, they dared not open the doors. It had been long since they had such heavy rain, and the community had made gutters all over the streets, but with this kind of rain, the fear was that the gutters might not be deep enough to contain the flood. Olaitan and Olaide were still looking through the window when they heard their mother's urgent call - water had started seeping in under the doors.

The rain did not relent till dawn began to break, and even after that, Olaitan and his family were still struggling to bail water off their floor. His parents scooped the water into buckets, while Olaitan and his sister kept running to pour the water down the drain and bring the buckets back to be refilled. On and on they slaved, until the water stopped coming in. It was daylight already now, Olaitan again looked up at the clock and saw that it was 7:23 am. Whew! What a morning!

They all collapsed in a heap, resting out the last 3 hours of labour. They had to get up again soon to start evaluating the damage. Luckily, it was not too bad, just the lower parts of the chairs were affected. The chairs and the whole room would need airing. Olaitan opened the door and went outside, the streets were still flooded, the gutters overflowing. He could hear the voices of his neighbors who were still trying to get the water out of their homes. It was a sorry situation, a dire one too.

Olaitan thought to himself that the people of his community didn't need ordinary gutters, they needed really deep ones and canals! But more than the canals, they needed a serious change of attitude. Olaitan was certain the flood would not have been so bad if only the residents had not stockpiled their refuse in the new gutters that had been made.

Business / Have You Heard About The 22 Year Old That Made $15,000 From 1 Instagram Post?! by Yemiolads(f): 4:13pm On May 22, 2015
Introducing Danielle Bernstein, the personal-style blogger behind 'we wore what'. She recently disclosed in an interview with Harper's Bazzar that she can make as much as a whooping $15,000 from one Instagram post! It's not magic, the money comes from fashion brands who want to get their products noticed by the close to a million followers that Bernstein has on IG. Interesting thing - this babe is just 22!!!

According to Business Insider,
Like many other fashion bloggers, Bernstein posts seemingly casual snapshots of her daily outfits, along with information about how to buy the clothes and accessories that she's wearing.
What her followers might not guess is that many of those posts are the result of negotiations with fashion and lifestyle brands who might ask her to not include any competitors' products in the same shot, or even in any other Instagram posts that week.
They're willing to pay a high price tag for that. According to Harper's Bazaar, brands spend more than $1 billion each year on sponsored Instagram posts.

The exact amount that companies pay is directly connected to the number of followers that an Instagram user has. When Bernstein hits the million-follower mark, she'll be able to charge even more for a single post.

Harper's Bazaar explains,

On average, if you have hundreds of thousands of followers you can make anywhere from $500 to $5,000 a post, but if you have upwards of 6 million followers, your fee can be $20,000 to $100,000 a shot.
Though Bernstein wouldn't say how much she earns through blogging and sponsored Instagram posts, she did admit that "it's more than I could have ever imagined [making] as a 22-year-old."
She added, "I fully support myself, and it's in the mid-six figures. I save; I invest; I'm trying to be smart about it all and learn as I go."

The question now is, how did she manage to grow such a large followership? That's where the work is. Perhaps, you want to do a research 'how to grow a large fan base on Instagram' now?

Food / Why It Is So Important To Eat Breakfast. by Yemiolads(f): 1:54pm On May 20, 2015
Breakfast provides the body and brain with fuel after an overnight fast - that's where its name originates, breaking the fast! Without breakfast you are effectively running on empty, like trying to start the car with no petrol!

Nutritionists advise that breakfast should be eaten within two hours of waking and a healthy breakfast should provide calories in the range of 20-35% of your guideline daily allowance (GDA).

Apart from providing us with energy, breakfast foods are good sources of important nutrients such as calcium, iron and B vitamins as well as protein and fibre. The body needs these essential nutrients and research shows that if these are missed at breakfast, they are less likely to be compensated for later in the day. Fruit and vegetables are good sources of vitamins and minerals so try to include a portion of your daily five at breakfast, whether that be a banana or glass of fruit juice.

Breakfast can be good for waistline too, research shows those who eat breakfast are less likely to be overweight and more likely to be within their ideal weight range compared with breakfast skippers. If you skip breakfast, you're more likely to reach for high sugar and fatty snacks mid-morning.

Are you always in a rush in the morning and feel like you don't have time for breakfast? There is a solution to that problem, you just need to plan right and know quick and easy breakfasts that won't make you late in the morning. See here for ideas: http://opeyemioladotun..com/2015/05/for-love-of-food-10-simple-breakfast.html

I had not even wanted to attend the conference. The boss just walked on Wednesday morning and said "Seun, you and Tobi will be attending the attending the conference tomorrow". "Ahnahn, Oga, but the plan was that you would go to that conference yourself with Tobi, what happened?", my boss said with a shrug "well, the plan changed, I won't be able to go tomorrow again and I don't want Tobi to go alone."

I tried, but I couldn't hid the disappointment on my face. I already had plans for Saturday, since I thought the boss wouldn't be around, I had planned to close early and take myself out to some place nice to just relax, now my plans were ruined. There was no way I could go from our office in Abeokuta to the venue of the conference in V.I and get back in time to be able to do any relaxation. It was so disappointing.

That was the story of how I got to be at the Landmark centre, V.I on Thursday morning with my colleague and friend, I had decided that I would stay for a while and then leave him there (since he was interested), and go to the V.I Shoprite to enjoy myself a bit, and look around, I might as well have a feel of Lagos since I was there already. I knew Tobi would cover for me, that's the good things about guys.

So, after I had sat through the opening speech feeling very bored, I whispered in Tobi's ear that I would be back shortly and got up to exit the hall (I had chosen a seat on the edge of the row at the back for easy exit). I strode to the car, jumped in and cruised to the popular mall. I was still wondering what exactly I would do at the mall, and since I was a bit hungry, the first place I found myself was at the food lounge. After tucking in a plate of chicken and fries with pepsi at KFC (I also got some takeaway for Tobi, as a good friend, lol), I decided to look around the stores at the mall.

I was still going round, stopping to see things that caught my attention when I remembered mum's birthday was in a week. I decided to buy her some African fabric at Da Viva as she is a big fan of ankara, kente, etc. I knew Da Viva usually sells some nice ready made things to, so I walked into their store to see what I would find. Immediately I walked in, a pretty woman walked up to me and and asked how she could help me, I told her I wanted to get something for my mum, and then her phone rang. She asked me to excuse her and I heard her call out as she walked away from me "Susan, please help me attend to that man, he wants something for his mum."

I had continued looking through the bolts of fabric they had hanging and I was studying a particular one that was draped over a mannequin when I heard the soft, well modulated voice behind me, "hello sir, do you like what you see?" I turned back and my eyes fell on the most beautiful woman I had probably ever seen, I knew she must be the one called Susan.

I know it sounds very cliche, but I know in my heart that I fell in love with her the moment I laid eyes on her, maybe even from the time I heard the sound of her voice.

Health / You Won't Believe How Ordinary Coconut Water Can Transform Your Health! See How! by Yemiolads(f): 5:02pm On May 18, 2015
If you saw the Jackie Chan movie called "Who Am I" years ago, you probably have an idea of how useful coconut water can be. It was used as an intravenous drip for someone who had passed out after a snake bite. That wasn't just one of those film tricks, coconut water is actually an accepted medical treatment in many parts of the World. This is because it is isotonic to human plasma, coconut water can be used in extreme emergencies to quickly rehydrate the human body if administered intravenously

1. Drinking coconut water strengthens your immune system and eliminates bacteria which cause urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, gum diseases, as well as viruses which cause colds, infectious diseases and typhus.

2. Not only will coconut water increase your energy, but as a natural diuretic it supports thyroid hormones and kidney function.

3. Young coconut water helps dissolve kidney stones by diluting your urine so that the various chemicals in your kidneys such as calcium, phosphates, uric acid, etc. are relatively easy to flush out of your system.

4. Due to its dietary fiber, it is also beneficial for digestion. Drinking it regularly assists in the elimination of gastric acid..... http://www.opeyemioladotun..com/2015/05/health-talk-7-incredible-things-coconut.html

Literature / Hot New Short Story: Behind The Masks by Yemiolads(f): 8:45pm On May 17, 2015
"Don't worry, I know I am not living a very good life, but that is why I have you to pray for me, and when I want to marry, I will go to the church and find a very spiritual woman who will cover for me spiritually. Life is too short for me not to enjoy it." Those were the words Shola had spoken to his mum almost 1 year ago when she complained as usual about his reckless lifestyle.

Mum died barely 4 months after they had that conversation, and now, Shola knew he needed another woman as strong as his mother had been to fill in the gap in his life. As he had told his mum, Shola's search for a wife took him to the church. First believers assembly was a well respected church in the neighborhood, the members of the church were known to be very pious and spiritual, so Shola became a member of the church.

It had occurred to him earlier that a proper christian girl would only want to marry on of her own kind, so Shola had tweaked his life a bit to fit into that mold. He started going for all the church programs. He disassociated from his club friends and made new friends in church, to avoid raising suspicions, he even became a worker and never missed a single workers'meeting. He kept his eyes wide open in those meetings, and before long, those eyes fell on sister Mary.

Sister Mary was so holy, always dressed modestly, cheerful, but quiet. She had such a calm spirit, and even that her name, Mary, it reeked of holiness -after all, that was even the name of the mother of Jesus! Shola had made his choice, and in accordance with the guidelines of the choice, he informed the pastor of his intentions. Nine months later, they were married.

Shortly after their wedding, Shola went back to his former lifestyle, the months of pretense had been torture. He was pleased with his newly acquired 'spiritual'wife, and confident that she would be down on her knees praying for him around the clock. After work one day, he went to pick up one of his old friends who just came in from abroad. They were going to hang out at the bar together and catch up on old times.

On the way to the club, Jide started raving about reuniting with a former girlfriend, about how the girl had come to see him yesterday and he realized she was still as hot as ever. When they got to the club, Jide was still raving about this super hot wonder girl he called Cathy. Shola got intrigued and asked Jide to invite the girl over to the club, so he would see what the hype was all about. Jide sent Cathy a text and told her to com over.

Three drinks and a couple of cigarettes later, Jide tapped Shola that Cathy had arrived and he was going to get her outside. A minute later, Jide was coming back with a lady on his arm, she was hot indeed in a very short provocative gown and stiletto heels, as usual, Shola started looking at her from her legs and his eyes moved slowly and appreciatively up her body as they approached. When his eyes reached her face, it took him a second to realize what he was seeing.

Shola wondered if it was the alcohol at work, he rose to his feet unsteadily and looked again at sexy Cathy. His eyes widened in surprise, surprise became shock.

"Mary?!" he said.

If you are trying to lose weight fast and you've tried several methods that don't seem to work, you should definitely read this and try it out:

By means of a simple drink that will refresh you, you can reduce the fat deposits accumulated on the key spots of the body.

Ingredients:
8 glasses of water
1 spoon of grated ginger root
1 medium-sized fresh cucumber with a medium size, peeled and cut into thin pieces
1 medium-sized lemon, cut into pieces
12 leaves of mint

Mix the indicated ingredients with water. Leave the mixture during the night so that the ingredients can discharge their aromas, so consume it during the following day. Whenever you’re thirsty, just have this drink. At least for 4 days, prepare fresh water every day and you won’t miss the result.

This drink will not do any wonders, however with moderate nutrition divided into 5 smaller meals, as well as regular physical activity, your waist will become thinner, and your abdomen will become flat, without a day of starvation. Eight glasses of water are indicated as the base of every healthy nutrition. Regardless of whether we want to lose extra pounds and maintain the existing weight, water helps in the performance of all bodily functions without major difficulties.
