Screening Procedure



1 You are required to complete the Application Form online. Your Digital Passport Photograph and UTME Result slip are required to fill the Application Form.

Please note that any Digital Passport Photograph size greater than 50 KB will be rejected and the format for the Digital Passport MUST be in JPG .



2 You are required to print three copies of the Application Form. Ensure that it contains your FORM NO, NAMES, SCREENING CENTRE and PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH before you print. The three copies will be used as follows:



>> Bring 1st copy to your Screening Centre

>> If you are finally admitted, bring the 2nd copy for Registration on resumption.

>> Keep the 3rd copy for your own record.



3. The DATE for the SCREENING EXERCISE is Saturday, JULY 13, 2013 at exactly 12.0noon. Candidates are expected to be seated latest by 10 am..

>>> HB Pencil

>>> UTME Result downloaded from JAMB website.

>>> Post UTME Application/Registration Form showing your Passport Photograph.

ProfChris10: Do OAU combine all the subjects together in the exam question paper? or each subject is separated from the others, because with that time frame it won't be good answering questions randomly from different subjects rather than focus on one. Please I hope it's separate like jamb?

it just like jamb question. You do English first, followed by the other 3 subjects. Only that it is 20something questions each.

But if you dont trust, please dont bother yourself o. I just want to help. And if you want me to help you buy, you will have to send #2500 instead of #2350 because money can only be withdraw in multiple of #500 from ATM.

Instead of coming down here, why cant you send the money to someone's account whom you trust, then do the registration at your side there.

@All, it is REAL o. The PostUtme Form is out. I have just bought mine at the OAU microfinance bank. The list of the people buying the form are around 20something. It is just #2350. No dull at all.

Am in Campus now, but I havent heard about the selling of the form. I will go to all those banks this morning to check. Check out this news:

Actually we Muslims dont live on miracles before we can worship God the way you christians do. It is you that advertise miracle on radio and TV so that people can to your churches. The miracles that is performed ONLY on TV screen.

The guy says Computer Sci with Eco. Comp Sci with Economics is a course in OAU under Faculty of Tech.

Also what are the UTME subjects for Computer science with Economics?

cutoff=(UTME score + PostUTME)/2
UTME subject for Comp Sci & Eco is the same as that of an Engineering subject that is Eng, Math, Che and Phy

O boy! Jamb don break by my mouth o. I do the exam as if I no go do any other exam again for my life. But at the end of the day I scored less than 250. Well sha! God go help us. Make I start preparing for OAU post jamb like say na him I go take enter Paradise.

I now want to ask if actually they have computer sci with economics because one of the student I called said they don't have it.

I want to be 100% sure they have computer sci with economics before taking my decision.

Computer Science and Engineering
Computer Science with Maths and
Computer Science with Economics

Am going for Computer Science and Engineering. What about you?

It seems this guy have a problem understanding simple grammar o. I never dispute the fact that there are 'long leg' of a thing. The problem start when someone asked that is OAU admission sure for any one who meet their cutoff mark? And the next thing he said was that admission is not 100% merit. Will it not be better for him to say that yes you will be admitted if you meet OAU cutoff instead of making unnecessary noise?

What he failed to understand it that the percentage of people to be admitted through Merit is given by the Federal government and it varies from one Federal University to another. If OAU admit 0.00001% of student on Merit, se you wan use police catch dem ni? Abeg dont discourage candidate with this your pessimistic and naive comment joor.
