You guys should cool ur asses down, FAAN is just chilling till when NIS will have dere list too, some people took part in the Faan recruitment and same people are also taking part in the NIS recruitment, they just need to wait for NIS's final list, so that one person won't be given two APLs, remember, dey are both federal jobs. For crying out loud! Where on earth will that be possible on their site! uploading CVs on FAAN'S website? wow thats just wonderful! BRO why don't you check their site to see whether you can find an option where to upload CV...

I want to emphasize on how much this very thread is IMPORTANT especially to those who are expectant! Even it is more important now since FAAN's site is down, this is the only thread one can atleast rub mind with likeminds and also get information about FAAN'S recruitment progress! As they say Information is power! I keep saying it that we should mind what we post here! Somepple will post anything just to damp the faith and hope of others, doing this will never get such person to any height unless the height of HUMILIATION AND DESTRUCTION! Am not saying you must post something favourable always, for what is the use a favourable information if its a LIE, but post information that is VALID! Now be careful in doing that, so as not to implicate anybody that has done u a favour of telling u classified information, you may never know who is reading this very thread, it may even be the top officials of FAAN themselves! Ofcourse i have read some info here that are very scary but so have i also read some info that act as an encouragement, but over all my trust is in the Lord and those that know the NAME of my God will put their trust in Him, and He shall defend them and they shall shout for JOY!

Well, until the final list is out, we may not b sure wat their decision on that will be.
however, let us critically examine some issues here:
surely abt 80% of all of us that made it to interview level have @ least B.sc/ HND & up to 70% of those in levels 6&7 category has Bsc/ HND also. so is it only few that will be upgraded or all, if all then the vacancies they are trying to fill in levels 6&7 will b open again, let us note that they followed a particular pattern in the list of successful candidates released as distributed among the states i.e list of level 6 is abt twice that of 7 &abt 4x that of 8.
From above, we can deduce that: they want lower level cadre to b more than higher level cadre & that happened to b normal practice everywhere & if they are to upgrade everyone then that target would have been lost.
l hope am making sense.

well bro i actually agree with you... but one of my course mate applied for a lower cadre but was sent away from the premises wen he was asked for OND cert and he presented Bsc cert. My question to the house is, why did the Bsc holders here applied for the lower cadre position when they could clearly see the certificate required is OND! Was it to increase their chances of getting the job?

I protected him cos I wasn't sure abt his identity.. It's not scam, he actually needed the documents in his mail box to fasten his job of documentation/tracing. He later told me dat he has seen my file, dat it wasn't missing(he wanted to be fast instead of sorting try hipp of files in his office. I asked him when FAAN is likely to call us, he said he can't disclose d date to me, but very soon we shall be contacted via d appropriate channel.

Bro if it is not a scam... then u have been shortlisted bro, for if not that u have been shortlisted he won't need to document anything of urs... my bro take it as a sign that atleast ur APL is coming bro... more hope to u... that is if its not a SCAM!

I have a friend who did this FAAN recruitment exercise with us, though he didn't get to the interview stage due to the melee that ensured towards the end of the exercise.
He did his IT in MMA and met a few people in FAAN who even promised to assist him when the opportunity comes.
So last night I asked him to call his people in FAAN and find out for us what is happening, after I narrated most of the things that have happened on this thread.

They can't cancel FAAN'S recruitment! It makes absolutely NO sense! While its plausible that NIS can be canceled now because they haven't commence the main exam, physical fitness and Interview ... but FAAN has gotten too far to be canceled! Now let me tell that guy that posted that thread, God has decided to favour me amidst THOUSANDS! The Way He has showed His power to me from the beginning of the recruitment exercise to the end, I keep saying it, u won't believe it! Now the God i serve will NEVER make me go through all that process just for the whole process to be CANCELED at the end! My GOD is not a man that He should lie! Neither is He a man that He should repent! Quote me anywhere, FAAN Recruitment will follow through and my APPOINTMENT LETTER will arrive! I will share the testimony on this very thread that the Living GOD LIVES!

Funny enough, those of you that are almost castigating one another all in the name of information, u guys might just be posted in the same airport and you will just make a reference to nairaland and the other person will then know he has been castigating u and u will all laugh it out in joy... i pray it works out that way anyways... but let us be mindful the way we attack other people's posts, and we that we have one information or the other, pls lets be mature about the way we present it. That might be a huge possibility, if you can recall very well thy asked if you applied for other government jobs or you are a government employee. I Can't really remember it vividly though.

i don't think you having an appointment with one government agency should obstruct u getting an appointment with another, one thing thats certain is that you must quit one for the other... it is true they asked the question whether one has worked before in a uniform job or government agency but its probably for experience purpose because if they don't want pple that already have appointment with other government agencies they would have CLEARLY stated it but they didn't! Besides some of my friends that didn't do FAAN couldn't find their names on NIS list too... so explain that... and also none of us has been handed appointment letter yet and won't it be wickedness for them to obstruct us from getting another appointment? aabaa! see NIS is till uploading names till now, if u doubt that then type ur state in the search box in NIS site, cross check the uploaded candidates with the original successful applicants stipulated in their site... if the number doesn't add up then they are still uploading... now lets leave NIS recruitment for its thread and focus on FAAN recruitment here...

When did you check for Kwara? I checked now and the names for Kwara is 1380.

i started checking early this morning and as at then kwara didn't display at all then like few minutes later i rechecked then i saw kwara but then it was just 100+ but now u confirming its already 1380 then it supports my theory the more that they are still uploading, but mind you, all hope is not lost for these that can't find their names yet... untill the uploaded figure correspond with the successful candidates stipulated under each states stated on their site...

@ pple that have asked me to confirm if their states are out... am not sure the whole state is out but if even it is out NIS is still uploading, i told u before that kwara has just been uploaded but my name and most of my friends name i have checked for is not there, then i checked the total number of the candidates uploaded under kwara, i saw they are just 100+ as at wen i checked and that figure doesn't Ofcourse correspond to the total figure of successful candidates for kwara stated on their site, so it can only mean they are still uploading... so lets hope for the best...

i have just checked for u now, Ondo state hasn't been uploaded yet... my state is Kwara but they are uploading my state now, i can't yet find my name but i guess they are still uploading....

Names of shortlisted candidates for online NIS exam is out on their site(the site where u registered), you can get your name by typing your name or your application number, if its there it will display, but a word of CAUTION! Don't get too upset if you can't find your name, some states are not yet uploaded, i couldn't find mine too then i noticed that the whole of my state hasn't been uploaded yet... Best of luck!

There r 2 things to this exercise, its either you are called or you aren't. Its either you get the job or you don't. Some will get the job, some will be disappointed. Some keep shouting faith here as if your level of faith determines your eligibility.

If you are an atheist and they judge you qualified and you are favored by quota system, you'll get the job while the other under-qualified born again christian will not. No amount of faith can change that. So lets all be realistic.

Bro i appreciate your sincerity of heart but may i let you know that as a bonafide children of God Almighty, nothing can be impossible for us, Jesus said and i quote "What ever you loose on earth shall also be loosed in heaven" or unless Jesus is a liar then wat He has said won't come to pass concerning us(His Own) u saying some atheists may gain employment because they are qualified and some born again Christians won't because they are under qualified, well u may be right but it will work for you according to your faith! My bible tells me the Just shall live by Faith! And we overcame by the Blood of the lamb and THE TESTIMONY OF OUR MOUTH! Am a living testimony of that bro. normally i wasn't suppose to be qualified for the physical fitness or the oral interview but God made it possible for me in a way that it surprises me even till now! (and don't think i scored a low mark, i did very well by His Grace) I always say if my FAAN'S appointment letter doesn't come then a Bigger one is on the way! Our God is able! only if you would believe, u would see His glory...

bro, i don't think i understand your post, you mean u were invited for the physical fitness but u aren't invited for the oral interview? did u attempt to come on dat day of oral interview? to even begin with, did u do well in the fitness exercise, Ofcourse u should be able to evaluate urself if u did...

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) said Computer-Based Test (CBT) would be used to conduct examinations for applicants of the 2015 recruitment into the service.
Mr Chukwuemeka Obua, the Public Relations Officer of the service, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Wednesday.
Obua said this was to prevent a reoccurrence of the 2014 recruitment where a stampede was recorded at various centres across the country due to large crowd of applicants.
He said the CBT would also be used to conduct the examination in order to test the computer literacy level of applicants.
He said this was a basic requirement for employment into the service.
“ This is the process that will be adopted for the recruitment in order to prevent the reoccurrence of the past incident. Four or five computer centres will be designated in each state of the federation.
“ Applicants will be divided according to these centres and they will be communicated online individually the date they are required to sit for the examination and the location in order to prevent over-crowding in centres and cases of non-applicants in attendance,” he said.
The spokesman said the CBT was a global trend accepted and used worldwide to conduct examinations.
He said the device was chosen to prevent the rigours associated with paper-based examinations.
He said that applicants would not be required to bring any writing materials; rather, they would only need their password which was the registration number to log into the computer, answer the test and submit online.
Obua said after the test, successful applicants would be contacted individually and asked to report to designated immigration offices across the country where they would be further examined.
“ At this stage, we will do the physical examination to check the height, presence of any physical disabilities and general state of health of applicants to ensure that they are fit to carry out their duties when employed.
“  Documents of applicants will also be reviewed during the examination after which successful candidates will be contacted online informing them of their acceptance into the service,”

whow... i thought NIS will do it like Faan's own, sending shortlisted candidates for online aptitude test username and password to take d online test any where they dim fit... its much easier that way... no traveling no stress, just login in on your computer or phone and do it.... But either ways My God is faithful... thanks for the info bro.

Well my people, It is well with our souls... i have been following this thread silently, i only commented in the beginning of the thread when most of us were having difficult time registering and when after registering and sent online test username and password and i couldn't login to the site on d day of my test.. It has been a tough journey truly but as the Bible says the Just shall live by Faith, am happy i could follow the thread to this point! God has been more than Faithful to me concerning this FAAN recruitment exercise, from the registration to the online test to the physical fitness and finally to the oral interview! if i share my experience of how My GOD made this possible for me, most of u will open ur mouth wide and my thread will be too long..(smiles ) Now the bottom line is, My poeple, if God starts something He will definitely accomplish it! Now check look back to when u started with FAAN, is it ur own wisdom that has gotten u dis far? Ofcourse not... so sit back give Glory to God and ur appointment letter will roll in! As for me if my appointment letter doesn't roll in it could only mean Bigger one is on the way! Because my God will definitely have His way! (sorry for the long thread )

Well Hello Vibrant Nigerian Youths, honestly great at times do i wonder why this our beloved nation is still in shambles when she has such warm hearted youths like these, infact in millions! i have been silently following this thread even the previous one that commenced last year, i have read some comments that has almost made me cry out of compassion and i have also read some comments that have made me laughed my heart out like the one of ORANGE DREAM The bottom line is that Nigerian Youths are ready to work hard. Their brains are burning with great ideas but there's hardly any avenue for them to do this! Everything virtually in Nigeria now is who you know, Corruption is at its very peak! Ofcourse they will reschedule the test for us that will be writing at 2pm SOII, because how on earth do you write an online test when the site its self is FORBIDDEN 403!!!!
