Bro, i have read it through! And whatever will make him write that can only mean he is in deep pain of disappointment! Now i ask you, do you think he would have written that if FAAN or immigration has shortlisted him? Ofcourse NOT! See that is LIFE, we gain at times and loose also at times, now by the SPECIAL GRACE OF GOD ALMIGHTY, i was shortlisted for SO II and i would have written something very contrary to what George O(the writer) wrote against Faan and NIS... And i have a load of more people that Faan shortlisted without knowing a SOUL in Faan! So what do you suppose we would write concerning Faan in particular? Take it or leave it bro, as far as i and other people that were shortlisted by Faan without the help of any body in faan except GOD are concerned, FAAN CONDUCTED FREE AND FAIR RECRUITMENT!

well u should expect this thread to be going less active, alot of people were not shortlisted so what will you expect them to still be doing on this thread? Ofcourse they would have moved on... i know some number of people on this thread that doesn't even check this thread again and they were once very active... i wish all of them best of luck in their endeavours in life...
Now back to the matter, what are you expected to come with for documentation?

But 15th of when, because the coming 15th of this month is Friday and not Tuesday.... So which Tuesday are you saying or u meant to say 12th?

I guess my assertion was right, FAAN is planning to speed up things with the second recruitment so that we will all go for training at the same time... If people have started receiving text msgs for pft and interview then there's no cause for alarm! Probably within the next 1-2 weeks everything should have fallen in place...

I have heard something similar, a friend of mine that works in the airport told me that after training they do pay up to 3-4 months salary at once and Ofcourse that includes various allowances... so the actual figure may even be more than 400k or less... we will soon find out...

what position did you apply For? and how true is this your assertion? well, what is certain is that we will find out soon enough when we get there won't we?

I am sure they'll accommodate us during the training period in Lagos. They hv a very big training skul here in Lagos. They should not just delay us

I pray so too, someone once said on this thread that the training duration is about 6-8 weeks...

Ok on a personal basis,when do you figure we will be contact. The wait for this list was an ardious one. Hope they won't make us have to wait so long again.

well bro, i can't really say when exactly we will be contacted, but i sure pray it won't be as long as when we waited for the list... i don't really know whether FAAN will make us wait till the second recruitment is over before they will now move all of us shortlisted both new and old for documentation and then training (it is plausible though) all the same God is faithful!

House let's keep information flowing cos this point we are is most critical. FAAN have said they will advertise on newspapers and their Website the date for documentation and processing. But these things can be tricky. So let's keep ourselves informed. So nobody gets left behind.

LOL bros, don't worry too much, if FAAN can send you a text for online aptitude test, pft and interview, believe me they will SURELY send you a text and email for documentation...
But i still support the fact that we should share information on this thread to know the latest development...

But FAAN, even when i believed the whole process was transparent and just, but based on the number of successful candidates you released, i don't think it was fair to have that number. i didn't get such text too, it is for those that submitted hardcopy applications, and may be a little more from the people left... Ofcourse it makes absolutely no sense for them to ask those shortlisted to retake the test...

@ItsMrike, can u see now my bro, the other day i raised an issue concerning this, asking why the pple with Bsc would apply for lower cadre positions and u seconded the question but some pple were strongly against this and caused a lot of uproar! Now only God will help them now since FAAN is now serious with it...

We thank God that the recruitment has gotten to this very level, and those spreading the cancellation rumor have been proved wrong! I don't blame some of them though THEY WERE JUST MISINFORMED! Now my people on this thread will now BELIEVE THAT WHAT MY GOD HAS STARTED HE WILL SURELY ACCOMPLISH! CHECK THIS THREAD FOR MY TESTIMONY AS THE LORD LIVETH, I SHALL GIVE IT!

We wanted some clue from FAAN and we have it... the long silence has been broken although this new DEVELOPMENT is CONFUSING ! I have read through the APP thing and i can't really say i understand wat it means, it could mean several things... But ofcourse its apparent that something is about to happen concerning the recruitment but i pray it will favour us...

well one thing that is almost obvious is that this month should settle every thing about this recruitment exercise! I believe we should make our feelings known to them, there's no harm in that! At least they owe us that much... We were living our lives normal before the recruitment then they called us and shortlisted us and were giving us updates now n then... but why will they stop all of a sudden as if they have completely forgotten they conducted a recruitment exercise! They should atleast update their PUBLIC UPDATE on their web site with anything that shows even a little clue of what is going on!

@citizenjuwon, nice info bro Thanks, but i wish FAAN would just say something, anything at all to let us in on what is happening! This LONG silence is something else, Ofcourse the best thing to do now is for one not to think of it much but i wish it IS THAT EASY...

LOL … I know the feeling, this is the second place you come to after you must have checked the FAAN'S recruitment site and saw there's no update... kind of addictive... but it will soon be over.

I applied for DMO, was highest scorer from my state and was one of the best(by my judgement) in my batch at the interview level and I am in touch with at least 10 persons who also applied for DMO i met at Enugu...and trust me if any has been contacted I would know.

Exactly what am driving at, hope Juonx and the rest of the people that are contemplating whether other departments have been issued APL SILENTLY are all reading this... Its NOT OVER UNTIL GOD SAYS IT IS!

Yea, u re right. Department like DMO...

i doubt that department such as DMO will be issued APL without FAAN pasting their names on their site, if not for anything but for them to show transparency and fairness they have been emphasizing! And also to give hope to the rest of the departments that are yet to be given APL... besides, their names were initially pasted on FAAN'S site when they were shortlisted for PFT so is it not expected their names should also be pasted for appointments? and are we saying we don't have any DMO applicants here on nairaland? Ofcourse trust me two or more would have shared it here if truly some of them have gotten APL... And believe me THERE'S A REASON WHY FAAN'S RECRUITMENT SITE IS STILL OPERATIONAL! If the recruitment is already concluded then is it WISE for the recruitment site to still be functioning?

@Juonx, You will do well to try and be realistic, unless you JUST WANT ATTENTION AS IT'S BEEN SAID! see it is a simple thing to understand when u actually understands that thousands of people do read this thread! So there's no way some of them will get appointment letters that they won't share it here, if not for anything but out of excitement! And am very sure they would even paste the images of their appointment letters or text received as evidence. I keep saying it that we should mind what we post here, even if we all have our rights to our own opinion...
