Well, it depends.

I didn't experience much of this room mate-relationship, but the little experience I had showered in a unique feeling for me. We were like seven in our room. Only four were legal room mates, others were squatters.

One looked like a nerd. I think most times he spent half of his day at the library. He was very cool. Yeah.

Others would talk about their relationship life, sex, how they knacked that girl, etc. And there was one too who never laughed. I never saw a smile on his face, but this guy was cool too.
