I feel Agu-Awka, Ifite-Awka and Okpuno are the places to be in Awka now, any contrary view guys?
Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by Yeske2(m): 11:24am On May 26, 2015
Was at commissioners' quarters Ifite-Awka last Sunday, that area was the bomb. Would've snapped pix but was in a hurry, never been to that part of Awka. Anyone around there could please upload some pix of its skyline for others to see.
Awka would definitely rival Owerri and Enugu soon.

@OP, bia nwokem, I thought you earlier predicted GEJ would win and hand over to Ndigbo in 2019?
PDP is dead and if the chairmanship is even handed to you, there is absolutely nothing you can do to revive it. Just move on
Politics › Re: How Allison Madueke Worked With Buhari by Yeske2(m): 8:27am On May 26, 2015
So what about this story? The husband could even join her in prison if he isn't careful.
Why was she running after him if she wasn't scared of her fate? Let her husband do the begging for soft landing na afterall @OP is trying to tell us that Buhari and alusi(Allison) Madueke are close friends

Madam gele sweet talking, you lied about how sound the economy was before the elections but telling us how bad it had been now. You will still be called to answer some questions on how you managed the economy especially how our foreign reserves were depleted and we accumulated an unprecedented debt under your watch.
Save us the sermons

APC only stated the amount of debt they'd inherit so why the fuss Olisa?
Olisa you ought to have told us what your god and saviour GEJ did with our massive earnings from the sale of oil before criticising APC
Olisa please tell us if your GEJ or PDP actually met up with 2% of their promise to Nigerians.
Olisa ibu onye ala and may God steer your life in the same manner PDP led this country
Politics › Re: Show Fort Thy Leaders (an Open Letter To The Igbo Race) By Esomnofu Arinze by Yeske2(m): 6:11pm On May 25, 2015
Anyi bu Ndigbo really don't know our position in the scheme of things.
2003 presidential election our Ojukwu contested, Ndigbo voted Obasanjo
2007 elections, Ndigbo voted late Yar'adua/Jonathan instead of Buhari/late Okadigbo
2015 elections, we had Igbos contesting but Ndigbo voted for an Ijaw man in the person of Jonathan.
Ndigbo ain't ready for any position to lead this country and i dare say we are what we are called.... Any government in power (AGIP).

mekaboy:
Those that wanted to crusify Gej and Okonjo iwealla when they asked for removal of subsidy. Can u see who the real enemies are now?

If subsidy was removed back then, by now petrol wont be scarce and it would not be more than 120 now. But today, we gladly by for 300-400 if we see.

Those that brought u food and drinks during the protest are the ones ensuring u pay with ur blood.
Some oil producing countries subsidize the price of fuel in their respectively countries but why is ours different, i'm not saying subsidising is the best but why is ours different?

When i tell most Nairalanders to disregard kids who come online and spew trash, most wouldn't listen.
I bought #200/L today along Limca road in Onitsha this morning, most fuel stations are closed.
Awka road, it's up to #300/L if you see, fares had all increased suddenly.
Can't believe it's same Onitsha that sold #110-150/L last week.

Funny you guys find this funny. Your country is crumbling right before your eyes under your "hero" and you guys imagine it is something to be cheery about.

I bet he's sitting there wondering what manner of country this is.

God help us.
Don't mind those kids here who think his situation should be laughed at. Who knows if the guy is desperate for fuel to power his factory employing other Nigerians or the guy is sitting and thinking of moving his business to Ghana or Benin Rep. amidst all the madness he's seeing----- no light, no fuel.
Politics › Re: Fuel Crisis By State (report Happenings In Your Area) by Yeske2(m): 9:39pm On May 24, 2015
Onitsha, bought #150 per litre today. Queue wasn't much.
Really don't seem to understand all the pix i see of Lagos, PH, Abuja and the rest. Seems supply is getting tighter anyway because i bought #110 last week.

And if you check well you will discover that 95% of those Alimosho cars belong to people from the SE. We drive them at home and we also drive in in Lagos causing you endless heartaches.
Why did you bother quoting that clown?

The scarcity is biting harder, no queues before but since two days ago Onitsha isn't finding it easy

No saTANist should tell me about any in the SE because I'm here live and direct.
Let her tell us about what is left of our foreign reserve and debts both foreign and local and let's compare to what OBJ left.I'm not even talking about the price of oil during OBJ's time and a larger part of the clueless one's regime

You are in effect saying the SE is a dead zone in terms of projects.

Seriously, you are not saying anything new since we all know this is one region where collectively and combined they are in zero position to do anything.

Their problem has little or nothing to do with lack of funds especially since the SE folks on NL claims and beat their chest all the time that they have a lotk of money and they are the richest in Nigeria, the problem is largely about poor and visionless leaders with zero sense of creativity.

16 years of lack of development and many more years of nothing to come since their predicament remains the same means what exactly?

They do collect taxes and allocations too..

It's lack of vision and creativity...
