chukwudi44: useless piece of propaganda by the useless Punch newspapers. The ACN was not broke with just six states including moribund osun and ekiti states, now saying PDP is broke with 14 states including all the oil producing states THat exactly has been wat PDP has been known for for d past 16yrs but Buhari says no more of dat. So I can believe that statement. |

Education › Corruption…the Root Of Nigeria by YetieLee(op): 11:16am On Feb 18, 2015 |
hello fellow nairalanders… I'm writing this from the bottom of my heart with so much pain. Nigerian top the list of Africa's richest, still we are in a dilemma with the kind of education system our governments chose. Its so painful when I think about my education going down the drain with no assistance. with the whole lot of rich people we av in this country, we should never lack anymore but everyone is busy looking after their family and pumping money into politics. some of this rich men can stand up for educational loans/educational sponsor so far there would be an income every 4 years. even after acquiring some skill, u find out that ur business can not be started up because of funds. its a pity where Nigeria is heading to. I hope we youths remain the lesders of 2moro and Nigeria remains the gaint of Africa. |

GboyegaD: This isn't as easy as you think because working hours are stipulated. My advice is based on my experience and unfortunately, people might not open up to you what they go through abroad. More so, as an international student, your tuition id's on the very high side averaging ay least $5000 per semester. This said, the final decision is yours. thanks |

GboyegaD: Why can't you study in Nigeria considering the cost of studying abroad? I would advise you do your 1st degree back home, make good grades and then apply for graduate studies abroad since you might get some funding from the school for that. I've actually thought of it. but I can't pay my school fees. over there it would be easy to study and work too unlike nigeria |

Education › Re: Most Nigerian Students In Ghanaian Universities Are Serial JAMB Failures by YetieLee(f): 11:00am On Feb 16, 2015 |
Nigerians! what the heck are you arguing about? after writing jamb and post jamb with normal school, u discover that you still av to tip some pple,. most of u talking abt how bad Ghana school is did nt pass jamb or post ume but av 2 tip. how is Nigerian school better, when after graduating, u no still get better job. tell me how many nations still use Nigerian system of education? we at very much backward so u better get something better to argue about. Obrafour: Mr. Aboki, by law any degree awarding institution must have a legislative instrument recognising it. IPS(institute of Prefessional studies) until last year was affiliated to the University of Ghana(albeit beign a Government university). Any student attending university in Ghana and has College attached to the name of his/her institution means it does not award degrees autonomously. The mushrooming of colleges in Ghana is as a result of the many students who were rejected by the public universities. This meant that grades which were accepted to gain admission to a course four years ago, are no longer valid. Indeed, this year the pass mark has been increased again. The Public universities have finacial backing from government unlike the Private ones, a college like Baptist college might be offering only course for its students. Don't forget, lecturers of colleges are part time tutors from the public universites. Nigerians! what the heck are you arguing about? after writing jamb and post jamb with normal school, u discover that you still av to tip some pple,. most of u talking abt how bad Ghana school is did nt pass jamb or post ume but av 2 tip. how is Nigerian school better, when after graduating, u no still get better job. tell me how many nations still use Nigerian system of education? we at very much backward so u better get something better to argue about. |
