She had only 1 child for him at the point they got married in 2012, the second child was born in 2014.
At the time of the wedding, Pero was already on baby number 3, Sumbo already had 2. She really should have walked away.

I agree with u that this divorce may be the best thing to happen to both parties, it may just be a breath of fresh air they both need to figure what they actually want.

In my personal opinion, I think their marriage should not have happened; their marriage and years of sticking together seem like one which was done to please the public rather than please themselves. Both parties seem to want different things as far as marital life and couple goals is concerned. 2face has never hidden the fact that he's not one to keep the "sanctity of wedding vows" and will always wander off over and over again. Annie on the hand has always shown the trait of what we Yorubas used to call "Ruth abokoku" (An obsessive wife who would rather die than leave her man or share him with others). She literally built her world around him and somehow hope he would change and be that man she desires him to be.

To me, it seems the fear of not wanting to disappoint their fans and lose the status of celebrity couple in the entertainment industry was more of what was keeping their marriage going instead of their own respective desire to be together. I may be wrong, but it seems the spate of different celebrities' marriage ending in recent times( Ay Comedian, Basketmouth and one half of Psquare) may have emboldened 2face to call it quits finally. I know just like every marriage, theirs too definitely has its own share of problems and both parties definitely have the pains they bear just to put a facade for the "online inlaws" . I believe this their divorce might just be the best for them and hope both parties will find comfort in the lovely children they had while the marriage lasted.

One thing I just detest is how a whole lot of Gen Zs are trying to rewrite history right before our eyes. They've been going on and bout claiming 2face used Annie. They claim at some point Annie was more popular than 2face and she had to sacrifice her acting career just to build with him. I'm still scratching my head to find when exactly that happened because if my memory serves me right, there was no such time when Annie was ever bigger than 2face. Like 2face has been a star for over 25 years and still counting. I don't even know any blackbuster movie acted even at the "height" of her acting career. I fear who no fear Gen Zs with the way they just keep pushing narratives that never happened. That was how one said Abike Dabiri only came to limelight in 2014 during the campaign for Buhari and all.

Unfortunately, Annie can't act to save her life.. Her acting is so poor I believe most producers/directors had to stop featuring her in their movies. She tried a bit in the series Flatmates, but as per proper movies, absolute no no.

She should have walked away from Tuface. Going ahead to marry him even while he was still impregnating Pero showed how low her self esteem was. I wish them both well.

Tell them that piece of paper called degree cannot guarantee you good jobs. Nobody really send their papa for job market whether 1st class or not. Only high demand skills can really give you the dream job or high connection. The olodo ones in school have proven to be more successful than these so called 1st class that can be bought either by cash or kind. Zero respect for 1st class graduates. They should better throw that paper and assume they know nothing because the only thing that's used to measure success in today's society is money
