I thought Gureje Grace was the best student with about 15 prizes and Viola was 3rd.
The list had Gureje Grace, Ezepue Vivian and Viola Echebima as 1-3 respectively.

I can see that the previous contests have dealt serious blows to people.
It's a forum and you cannot control how people vote, unfortunately.
I think the mods should make it a percentage thing, like for pictures, interview and any other criteria. For example the interview section should have it's own mark based on likes, same for pictures. Then all the likes are collated for each contestant. The final 3 are named and the voters who choose from the final three.
Any form of campaigning should be banned and if any is found it should be reported.
I knew about the contest because I saw it on FP.
Once it leaves FP people won't know, not everyone visits NL everyday. I think it should be one thread on all sections if that is possible so everyone on NL can see it and access it irrespective of what section they access, thus make contributions towards it.
The integrity of a contest is more important than the prize money.
Really it's sad when you see some winners
