edkai: is there usually any visa requirements to transit through Johannesburg? I don’t think that’s allowed. You’ll only be lodged during your stopover. By the way, who’s leaving on the 18th to Sydney via Lagos let’s move together |

Supermega: Please someone should recommend a good site to book a flight. Tnx Book with SAA they’re a bit expensive but it’s worth it. They’ll handle your luggages till you get to your destination and they have complimentary hotel reservations while there’s a stopover in Johannesburg. |

leo083: Good morning my nairaland family,
I want to share my testimony to encourage others in similar conditions
Wife Visa application: Nov 26 , 2017 to resume in NSW January 29 2018 First contact by case officer: January 25 2018, asked for Proof of relationship with sponsor, then UK refusal eveidence
Wife VISA granted about 7 days after school resumption; 6th February 2018
I applied with my kids as a subsequent entrant on a dependent Visa: August 6th 2018
VISA REFUSAL: October 22, 2018
DEVASTATED, ANGRY, CRIED SAD,DEPRESSED
Re applied November 22, 2018
Then the very LONG WAIT
NO CONTACT FROM THE CASE OFFICER
Sent them mail twice, January and March: the sent an automated response and then later that it’s still under consideration
WAITED AND WAITED
Then suddenly without contact from case officer, on a FRIDAY GOD DID IT
Visa granted : 7th June 2019
KEYS: GOD FACTOR : prayers, fasting perseverance: through all the issues, long list.
Never give up friends in similar shoes.

Hello guys, I was offered Admission into Australian Catholic University for MSc in Teaching(Secondary) and I applied for my visa on the 16th of May with three FD of 16m, 6m and 5m respectively. All in the name of my two elder brothers and the 6m and 5m belonging to my dad. Please what’s the assurance of a grant and how long should it take. P.S I’m with the July intake. |
