nitrogen: Hi Guys,
Family application (study permit for myself, SOWP for wifey and TRV for my boy) on 28 Dec, upfront medical and Biometrics (on 31st).
Approval on Jan 22 for myself. Waiting for madam and my boy's approvals.
Question is, does it mean that until the primary applicant gets his passport stamped before other applications get approved or what? Hello Nitrogen, Congratulation on your approval. Please what documents did your wife submitted for the SOWP? Thank you. |

When the S/S leaders including Wike asked him to disregard CCT by not appearing last week, una no cry at all. The guy said he forgot to declared his asset ,imagine a number one law custodian of the nation and guys are shouting Buhari.
If Nigeria will be better, we need ruthless, radical leader that might sometimes have to "suspend " the law with common sense in the interest of the masses cos Nigeria law is faulty and the law makers are not ready to effect any change to their disadvantage.
Buhari still has my vote. 4+4 is a goal. |

Ratello: Buhari will be shocked after February 16 this I can assure you. That guy is a terrible man, I mean a man travelled down all the way from US and just had few hours to prepare himself for the debate and all what Buhari could do is to scram? You don't need to assure anyone of things yourself is not sure. So keep that to yourself and wait to see the defeat of your candidate. 4+4 is a goal. Next levels |

Debate doesn't win elections in Nigeria from past records. This will not be an exception. If Atiku really has tangible issues to discuss,Buhari's absence should make him feel good to rather sell his plans better but both old men are almost same in term of their knowledge and capacity.
A lot of external forces (Former Generals and may be US now) is supporting Atiku cos of personal interest and not for the good of Nigerian masses. How many of such votes can influence the decision on election day.
Majority of people that will even vote Buhari won't watch debate, don't know Atiku is in America or not.
Personally, I can't vote for PDP at any levels in this country cos sincerely they have the opportunity in the past and wasted it,not until now they've realized what it means to govern well.
I have my PVC ready for Next level.
Thank you. |

Anaedo1: Mr Political sagacity.. Igbos are naive yet they control the economic life of this country..I live in Festac here in Lagos in a duplex owned by a fellow Igbo man..Your dirty Yoruba brothers live in a crowded 1977 built block of flats..Am the close chairman so i determine what happens in there..Quit the self deceit..How has your political sagacity bettered the lot of Yoruba's?.. Economic life of S/E you should say. If we're practising regional system of government then you'll understand that every region is the master of their economy. What are you doing in Lagos in Festac and not develop your region as well rather than crying frustration on the people that enables you food to eat. You sound too tribalistic and envious at same time. Wake up |

midolian: This old tortoise can say and do all he wants, it won't change the fact that Atiku, who happens to be his candidate will be defeated easily, fairly, squarely, roundly and comprehensively at the polls...
It is true the APC has no plans for Igbo presidency and every sane person knows why. You don't plant banana and expect to harvest plantain.
The Igbos will be busy hating and making enemies for themselves until minority tribes like Nupe produce president before they ll realise politics is different from trading.
As for OBJ, his irrelevance will become pronounced after the forthcoming Elections.
πe×t Le√el pls! . Very true. More so a region clamoring for Biafra today, referendum tomorrow with no visible and responsible leader should not be taken seriously. |

shachris02: why should we vote buhari? can you tell us in concrete terms why we should vote buhari again?
Don't come here chanting inaudibles like a zombie. We should vote him to build on the good works he's doing while correcting the wrong ones too rather than another person starting with another 4 years of experimentation. Secondly,Atiku, most especially is not not an option compared to Buhari. Any of the "younger guys" would have been better but we're not ripe for such voting pattern yet in Nigeria. Finally, no real candidate can solve all Nigeria's issues at hand.Either Buhari,Atiku or others, Citizens need to be more responsible by ourselves as we're all leaders in different perspectives, so needless to say changing just one " bad leader" would translates to changing the country. Thank you. |

deboysben: Don't be surprised that after campaign and elections work at that site will slow down and eventually be abandoned.
They are rushing it whether the work is solid or not just to meet up their way of securing south west votes.
However, They are also over hyping this project just to secure cheap political points. Well it's for those their brains are being used.
I rest my case. You have a point but if we must get it right in the country we need to star gradually like this. Either political campaign or otherwise, if something close to this has been built over 16 years,by now it will be close to perfection like in a developed world. |

jnyuwa02: So many myths going on here. Someone last month said that all July and August applicants will receive a decision in early November. The truth is, nobody but CIC itself is privy to such information. Anybody who profers solution as to when an application will be decided based on a reliable source, is only speculating. CIC does not disclose such information to anybody, not even to an MP. The second myth going on now is that CIC website has crashed. I really don't think this is true. This is the 21st century. A Canadian government website crashing? Even if it crashed, is giving everyone that applied a TRV a sensible way of response? Ordering everyone that applied to submit their application again with no application fees would be the sensible response. That they have not done so tells me crashed website is not the problem, but a matter of backlog spilling from fall the most busiest season that London encountered. Now applications since late September and October and now are been channelled to less busy Kenya to allow London do background check and finish processing it's backlog. This is what makes sense. Hello Jnyuwa02, Pls I sent you a PM. I need your kind assistance on my SOP review. Thanks Boss. |
