Typing.. I honestly do not seem to get where myth of Porsche being reliable got started. This is brand with cars driven at very low miles. Which we all know should result in less breakage. However, they have got everything. When i say everything i mean - from electronic gremlins to motors that require tons of very expensive maintenance, just like every other German performance car. Porsche no be Toyota we u fit drive for 100,000miles and na only only gear oil u go change. Disclaimer: Before you qoute me saying rubbish. I am not saying porsche is not a beautiful machine to operate. But dont kid yourself, every used Porsche can sting you with a very nasty repair bill in a way that a more ordinary performance car never will. |

typing..... First, i am not happy with the level of sensational journalism by the press - PunchNg. So now it has to do with group of Northerns, they deem it fit to use the phrase "Arewa Youths" but when it involves group of south- southern, they then tagged them "Niger Delta Watchdogs". Punch is a disgrace to the media. Sahara Reporters wont be this sensational. That been said. Lets go to the issue at ground.. I am actually ashamed of the DSS. The Dss i hoped for in this present administration i helped brought to power was one without Bias. However this has not been the case. I do like to ask why is it each time there is an issue between the north and the south, people of the south always bare the pain of harassment from security agencies, yet nothing happens to the killers up north?. There is always a one-sided arrest, detention and prosecution. The DSS doesn't seem to know it but they are one of the agencies that beat the drum of separation loud and clear. They (DSS) reacts excessively and aggressively to South East and South South groups while, on the flip side, turn blind eye to the apparent breach of laws by Northern groups, like the group that openly defied the constitutional right of Nigerians to live freely wherever they want in Nigeria, and gave Igbos October 1 deadline to live Northern Nigeria. Why didn't DSS move against the group? What of Fulani herdsmen who kill and roam free? Two laws! One for arewa the other for the rest of us including some hallucinating AFONJAs . Some Yorubas think the same law for arewa is for them but recent revelation said the contrary when Yorubas defended themselves on their own turf against Hausa Fulani ile ife, at the end, lives and properties were lost from both sides but The aggressors were left off the hook while the victims were arrested including an "OBA" who just got bail after two months in "cell" don't forget what happened in Lagos by the same people against the same Yorubas aided by police. Shine ur eyes! The sufferphisticated ones. These things (DSS flagrant bias against Southerners) plays deep into the minds of South East and South South Youths. DSS is the best recruiting tool for Southern separatist groups. It has to come to an end. Where is the president, he need to call his uncle or brother or whatever he is to Order!. |

The Bitcoin Business I tried to give a detail tutorial on this sometime late last year, but the thread was deleted. Take a peek at rule 16 of Nairaland. So here i wont be going into details not because i do not want too, but because I do not want this thread closed or deleted. Many of us know what bitcoins is, if you don't then google it up. October last year i dived into the bitcoin business. I imported my bitcoins largely from China and Trade them in Nigeria on bitcoins trading platform. Some days i sold little if i so wish. IDEA: Get the bitcoins at cheap rate from china and trade them on Trading Platforms at expensive rate or sell them to business clients. Funding: The Bitcoins business is a very capital intensive business, i started with a huge sum of money... self sponsored and continued. Profitability: I got little money in month of October till on 2nd of November when i dived into trading locally... Thanks to my friend AleairHub, he advised me to start trading locally and leave the international trading platforms of bitcoins. I took his advice and i must tell you i smiled to the bank. Thanks to IzikJon, MarcJoe they pressured me into the bitcoins business. Something happened in November, something so personal and it really affected me, i was down for 3-5days... On the 9th of November to be precise i turned the sadness of the even happening to joy. I withdrew all the money in my account and threw into buying forex from abokis sending them to china just to purchase Bitcoins. I continued this was till the end of November. 31st november at around 4 P.M i confirmed from my statement of account that i have made a transaction of 409 million Naira - N434 million naira worth of bitcoins transaction. In this month alone i banked 19.4million Naira + in Profits. In month of December alone i banked 12million Naira in profits. I would have done better than november but the MMM News affected the bitcoins business in nigeria. Difficulties and how i solved them - Daily transfer limit: This wasn't really much of a problem to me, as i use one of the best business friendly bank in Nigeria, that allows even 50million naira to be sent from a Savings Account Via Mobile Banking. My Bank allows me to increase or reduce my transfer limit at will and on the fly. So this enabled me to be able to transfer millions to my Abokis. -Account Locked: At a point in time my account was locked, i had to walk into one of diamond branches to explain the nature of my transactions on a Savings Accounts that warrants me to make such Huge transfer. My account was unlocked that day. I so love my Bank. -Search for Forex: This wasnt really much of a problem i have several connects to settle this. - Electricity: At a point in time powering up my phone, laptop was becoming a problem... i had to go pay for a month's rent at an hotel and focused fully. The month of November was a crazy one. As paying N20,000 a day *30days is no fun. Remarks: The bitcoins business changed my life in a period of short time, the profit raked in were massive. I was caged in a room for days. Disclaimer* - To those who do not believe figures quoted on the bitcoins biz, can contact me.. i have proofs, statement of accounts and you can visit my office in Abuja if you so desire. |
Tomatoes Business At around April/may last year, I and IzikJon imported tomatoes into the country from neighboring country Cameroon. We imported tomatoes worth millions of Naira and sent them to various part of the country to sell. Around april last year, tomatoes was hot cake or should i say gold. We both documented our adventure or sojourn on Nairaland here. THE IDEA Ater several thought of going into a new business which Half way into the month of April, i have been reading wide and far ( i read the papers daily), and i noticed that that the product TOMATOES has been on the High Side due to scarcity - Even celebrities were complaining: https://www.nairaland.com/3090036/waje-bemoans-high-cost-tomatoes - Lagosians complaining: https://www.nairaland.com/3091570/lagosians-groan-prices-tomatoes-skyrocket#45398311 This was in Contrast to early Febraury last year when the price of tomatoes was as low as N300 / Baskets due to a Glut in the market. You can read here for more Information as to that date ( https://www.nairaland.com/2939685/tomato-glut-hits-katsina-markets ). Having taken note of this development, i headed my way for the popular Mile12 -Ketu Market in Lagos state, making the necessary research and then headed for my journey. Soujourn My Travel Soujourn and Experience. I wont want to bore you with unnecessary stories so i will be brief, i will be sharing how we travelled from states to states in search for tomatoes. Day1: LAGOS - JOS We travelled to abuja via flight around 3pm and then board a sienna vehicle to Jos. Getting close to Jos around 10pm we were attacked by thieves close to the Jos Science High school Road., lucky enough our driver was fast to manuever and had go back. we go to jos around 12 Midnight. we slept at jos to the next day Day2: JOS SOJOURN. -we visited the Farin-Gada market in to buy tomatoes. On getting there we were dissapointed there was nothing. The sellers attributed it to lack of tomatoes. We decided to meet the "Sarkin Kasuwa". I wont lie you Alhaji was to blunt to us ( Ymodulus and IzikJon ). He told us we wont get due to scarcity and that the few available are been sold to loyal customers. i got discouraged and stopped speaking to him. -We then left and went down to mungo. we heard we can get from that area. we visited mungo, anpam west. we got nothing. we went all were we were advised too go. we literally slept among Fulanis even when we knew of the current fulani herdsmen fight. we spent 2 nights down in the bush. This is to tell you how deep into the bush we went. Day3: Bauchi State / Jos. - We woke up safely without been hurt by any herdsmen. They are lovely people. We drank live Cow Milk . i touched cows easily and we all talked. We gave the fulanis N10,000 as a token of appreciation and then bidded them fairwell. They even saw us off through the bush down till we got a vehicle. - We took a vehicle and headed straight to Bauchi to a town calles Til De Fulani. This we did all to no success. In the town we were advice to go to another called Maga-Mungo Man. We went from Maga - MungoMon Village to Gada to Angwari. All to no success. - Same day we went to Borno State cause we heard we will be able to get in large quantity there. All these was to no success. - Right in Borno State roughly about 30mins. We got to hear from another "Tomatoes Delale" in Lagos Mile12. That we can get tomatoes in Republic of Cameroon. We asked him if he was sure, he confirmed to us that he was. He further added that 400basket of tomatoes came in from cameroon. - This weekend us. my friend IzikJon said he couldnt continue on the trip. I told him not to worry. We both went back to Jos had a nice bath and went out to relax ourselves at Resort. All with the intention of travelling to Republic of Cameroon the Next Day. Day 4: JOS - BAYELSA Based on the information we got from the two tomatoes Dealer we have in lagos. They informed us that to go into the republic of cameroon we have to go through Bayelsa. - We boarded a sienna through Plateau Riders to Abuja. We paid him extra to take us to the Airport at Lugbe. - From Abuja we flew to Portharcout, and then board a bus to Bayelsa. This was the shortest route as bayelsa had no Airport. On getting to Bayelsa town i was troubled i recalled that bayelsa had no bordering town to cameroon. Thanks to my Google Map. - We immediately called our Tomatoes Dealers in lagos and informed them of developments. My Major Dealer then told me a driver came down from Cameroon now with Tomatoes. We collected the driver's number and we asked him questions about getting there. We then found out that we have to go through Cross River Calabar via a local government call Ikom. -We then went back to Portharcout. On getting to Portharcout we heard from a passerby that Ph- Calabar is a 7Hour Journey by Road, As there was no direct flight that day to Calabar. This we were not ready for. If you use to travelling by flight you will understand. -On checking the various Airline websites, We flew back to Abuja then board another plane same day to AKWA-IBOM UYO. We did this as the direct flight to calabar that day left already. We also heard that UYO to Calabar is roughly an Hour Journey. -We got to Uyo and then took a vehicle to Calabar. We booked an hotel slept over till next day. Day5: Calabar - Ikom. To Cameroon. -We Checked out the hotel at calabar around 6:20am morning and headed to a park Called Ayade or Ayare Park ( Cant recall exact spelling but the park/pronunciation is owned by the Current State Governor of Calabar. So we heard). - We got to Ikom Local Government. And then made several Enquiries about heading ro cameroon. We got to hear that we cant get into cameroon without running several papers or bribing our way through. We decided to follow the latter. As it was the most Viable at that time. -When we got in. We made research about where tomatoes can be obtained. We heard several Places, which we declined and headed to an area Filled with Hausas. we mingled spoke and interact in Hausa with them and they directed us. - We made necessary findings, till we were set to start.. We were so happy because the tomatoes we saw at Cameroon was as so described.- In Hausa " Jajaye Kaman Jini" :- As Red As Blood, Big and succulent. Have a view below Special ShoutOut to Josites*.
