He doesnt need to have thr mega funds he can pull of things as long as he has the necessary backings, which i dont think is a big deal. Puresolutions:i agree with your first paragraph not just on his first business, but its bad putting all eggs in a basket. However i dont think buying a farm or a shop is a good advice. Niyinficient:I dont think he necessarily has to go from Mokwa - Lapai - Suleja, he can go through minna city. Suleja Road has been repaired. Just recently. FEGEITOK: Abuja - Mokwa - Ilorin = 8hours Abuja - Ekiti = 5hours 30 mins to Ado Ekiti, Ekiti - Illorin = Around 2-3hours ( i cant recall). |

FEGEITOK: My Advice is as recent as Last week back, Two weeks Back. [size=15pt]ROUTES[/size] ■Abuja - Minna - Illorin -Abuja -suleja -Minna city ( Tow Gate at Secretariat ) This road to me is the best. The road from Abuja to Suleja to Minna has been repaired qith no single Port Hole. Some may think am exaggerating, i state that i am not. The road been a federal Government road was repaired by the Niger state government. Minna - Abuja is just an Hour 30mins with a speed of 130km/hr. note the road is free, wide , standard. ( I ran Minna - Suleja around the kerosene tank well owned by the Abia state governent in 58mims. 135km/h ) *Minna - Gidan Kwano ( location of prestigious Futminna ) - Bida The road is not that bad. when you get to NECO HeadQuarters and close to Risk Management office from that area down to Bida Round About around the Big Mosque is not too good. port holes. Though not all the road, road around Maizube farms owned by Abdulsam is perfect. I dont think Gidan Kwano - Bida should be a problem as its a 45min journey on 100km/h. I am so sure of this route cause i do go to one of the biggest yam market around there to run my biz. *Bida - Mokwa - Jebba Bridge Soooooooooooooooooooooooo perfect. New tarr, still dark and fresh, smooth. *Jebba Bridge - Illorin From Pako to BiriBiri is not good. it is bad. However from Bode Sadamu down to Illorin na one way. Note, I always follow the route where i burts out at the new Ilorin High way at the bridge i take the left towards Ilorin Airport road which is close Geri Alimi Round About. This is illorin and from there shouldnt be a problem. I dont know ilorin much Just Geri Alimi, Tanke, Taiwo, Basin Area. ■ Abuja - Lokoja - Obajana - Kabba - Ekiti - Illorin From Airport road down following the Shehu Musa Yaradua way down to Lokoja is smooth. Though note that the lane from lokoja is not as smooth as lane from Abuja to lokoja. When you get to Lokoja around the International Market take your right straight to around 100km there is a Y junction take same right to Obajana then to Kabba. State of Obajana Road: Obajana Road is in a state of total Disarray ( Too much portholes ans the road is not tarred in several area, even where the road is tarr has several portholes. However This seems to be the shortest route. Kabba Road is also not that good. however from One end of ekiti to the other end is okay. Note: There are two roads to ilorin from Ekiti. 1. Through Ifaki - Omu Aran - Ijara Isin directly into Illorin around kukulende Market area. 2. Through Aramoko - Ijesin - Inisa -Offa - Ilorin. ( i dont follow this route anylonger, its usually empty. You wont see vehicles on the road. And believe me security is something of utmost concern. Drom offa to illorin is busy but before offa is a no. please take route 1) Take Route 1, even Some bike men all way from Kwara state working in Ado Ekiti take this route. Sunmary: Abuja - Lokoja- Kabba - Ekiti - Ilorin ( through Omu Aran Route ) ■. Abuja - Lokoja - Okene - Ekiti - Kwara ( Do not follow this route. Public behicles dont follow this area. ) THINGS TO Be worried Of? Nothing. As long as your car is in good conditions ans brake is okay, just fire dei go one way. You might need the Ac of your car working because around Obajana is extremely dusty. You should have valid documents. custom paper might not really be a problem as i rarely see custom officials on this side of the road. I mean the recommended route i laid down below. *Have valid Driving license. *Have Fire extinguisher, C- Caution, Spare Tyre. This means no bribe to any official on the road. Except you wish too. * Please if your tinted permit is the old vehicle tinted permit, kindly have the tint off. Else you just attracting problems for yourself. Those highway patrol are much around kwara. Recommended Route: Abuja - Lokoja- Obajana - Kabba - Ekiti - Ilorin ( through Omu Aran Route ). My experience- A week - 3weeks old. 17 Likes 3 Shares |

AbuSaad39:you don't need to know how to read maps. I use Google Map whenever am travelling and driving. It has been so simplified that you need not look at the map. My car has a Bluetooth so I use the Google Map Bluetooth functionality, which tells you follow right left or middle or slight left etc. You also look at the top left edge of your screen and follow the arrows and heading. also get a phone stand attach to your car windscreen front. |

At Poster, - I recently drove my car all way from Abuja to Lagos. Last week Tuesday to be precise. - I left Abuja Tuesday evening around 3:45pm and got to lagos Wednesday morning 4:17am. Things you should not do ● Do not ply the Lagos - Okene - Auchi - Benin - Ore Route. Though this seems to be the shortest route. You need to be warned that Auchi - Benin Road is a death Trap. I mean so very Bad. ● Ensure your car is not one of those low cars. I had my car rims changed from 15" to 17" with tyre of 225 pi. ● Ensure your shocks are good. ● Your drivingredients license and Custom documents and motor vehicle are all in other. ● If you have your car tinted and your permit is the old vehicle tinted permit, please have them off. you will bribe so much till you hate yourself. Different Routes ● In last 3 weeks, I have driven from Lagos - Kwara, Lagos - Ekiti, Lagos - Minna, Lagos - Abuja road. Lagos - Minna - Abuja is the best route, the bad road around the Jabba mokwa has been repaired. and just a few side is still in bad shape. The lagos - Minna route is the longest, however the road is well tarred and you can run very fast. I ran 135kM/h through that route. I left lagos 9:48am and got to Minna 6:20 on the Dot. The next day I left for Abuja. ● Lagos - Ekiti - Obadana- Abuja. This route is fairly okay, however road from Ilesa ipetu down to Ado ekiti, is not that good so you can run and might end up driving slowly. The Obajana Lokoja road is so bad. That you dI'd be scared of your vehicle. However it's the fastest. From Lokoja to Abuja is just too sweet, one way. via Airport Nnamdi azikwe, shehu musa yaradua road. Things To do ● Breaking Your journey half or 3- Quarter way. If you know you haven't driven this long before I do advice you split the journey into two, except you know you can do it. ● Please ensure you break all N1000 notes into N100. Else by the time you start bribing. You will end up paying N20,000 as settlement fees. ●Road Safety: Ensure you have your fire extinguisher, Spare tyre, Driver license and C- Caution. I learnt the hard way around Obajana route down to lokoja. ● If you are a force man, just put your jungle heart or cap on the dashboard of your vehicle. Them no born them well to stop you. I once carried a force man. ● When you are asked by any force on the route always tell them you are from a far place, for example from Abuja say Kano. They will have pity on you and not ask you stupid questions or try waste your time. ■■■ PLEASE and Please if your custom paper is invalid no travel with your car ooooooooooooooo. Na there you go no say trouble dei sleep yanga go wake am. wetin him dei find? Wahala u dei find. Wahala you get ooo cc: chiebube1 Summary: Take the Abuja - Lokoja - Ekiti - Ile ife - Lagos Route. OR Abuja - Minna - Kwara - Osogbo - Lagos Route. ( This route is about an hour slow however. You are guaranteed of running on a good tarred road. ) OOO less i forget. Have an updated version of your Google Map. Below is a picture, from Lagos - ABuja, was running 140km/h . [size=16pt]Note!!! Because you be expert driver for abuja no mean say you sabi drive for Lagos ooo. If your car is new without scratches please and please no carry the car enter lagos. Else na serious scratch you go carry. A moderate lagos driver is an Abuja expert driver, however the reverse is not the case.[/size] 13 Likes 4 Shares
