i got the hook from the local market after so much stress
but i want bigger hooks

You can get a 7 or 8mm hook from a crochet craft pack for kids. I 've seen that sort of stuff in a toy shop.
It is also on Jumia. Just search for Clarks Crochet.
Here is what it looks like:

Materials for Tutorials:
1. Yarn. 2. Crochet hook. 3. Flexible fingers (so do finger exercises). 4. Lots of patience.

I would recommend 4mm for starters. Although I. doubt if you would find that in the market. Any size of hook should be fine anyway for now.

You are welcome Dear. You will be needing a crochet hook and a ball of yarn. This can easily be obtained in clothing accessory shops.


I will start putting pictorials ( picture tutorials) and maybe a video together. Hopefully by the weekend, your first lesson should be ready.

Too bad, I don't know anyone who could teach you at your base. But then I could teach you on nairaland. All you need is lots of zeal and determination.

Try Shoprite ( if you are in Nigeria) . They've got 2, 3 and 4mm ones. Otherwise you may need to order them from Amazon via Mall for Africa.
