He has started I like this tho..

True to his word, the reign of the new Oba of Beni‎n, Oba Ewuare II, has started bearing positive fruits with the outlawing of activities of land speculation carried out by the various Community Development Associations (CDA) in Benin.

It would be recalled that activities of youths as land speculators had been a source of worry to inhabitants of Benin City in the past.

With this pronouncement, all operations of CDA Chairmen and Youth Chairmen ceased to exist, including collection of development fees, sales and marketing of community land.

The directive came during a homily delivered by the Priest of Holy Aruosa Cathedral, Benin, Ohenosa Harrison Okao, at the thanksgiving service by Oba Ewuare II as part of activities marking his coronation as the 40th Oba of Benin Kingdom.

According to the Ohenosa, henceforth, sale and management of community affairs and land shall be better managed by the Edionwere-in-Council and the Enigie (Community Head).

He urged all patrolmen, pointers as well as other Community Security apparatus including lawyers to strictly ensure compliance by abstaining from writing Deeds of Transfer with the concerned persons or Transferors.

I thought that the Benin Kingdom was so rooted in its own tradition and had plenty of MAGICAL powers.
Why would the King need a car from oyinbo people who captured his ancestor and sent him on exile
Is he and Benin people so shameless with absolutely no dignity whatsoever for themselves?

I'm from Edo and I stay in Edo I'm surprise at him with the exposure he got and education he could think so!
If you google about Oba Ewuare 1, you would see all he stood for and what he did in 1440-1473 AD and that is what this very one said he would bring back into tradition, can you imagine that! I know it would be hard for him cause people re too expose nowadays but saying or thinking about it tells a lot about him!

Ewuare 1 was more like wicked, 4giv my language. He caused many villages he visited.. Let's just hope modernization prevent dis one from such... I'm not against him being more traditional than his father tho!

2019: We Would Rather Die With Buhari, Than Vote A Southerner – Northern Leaders

Senior Northern Leaders on Monday, October 10, have said that despite the current economic woes characterizing the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, their votes for him (Buhari), in the 2015 Presidential election, were never wasted.
A former Secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, who spoke on behalf of the Northern Elders, at the Northern Group’s Summit, organised by the Northern Elders Forum, in Kaduna, said that if Buhari, or any Northern candidate contests for Presidency in 2019, they would gladly vote in their favour.
While speaking, Hakeem said: “Today, we meet in Kaduna, in a vastly-improved security atmosphere, with the Boko Haram sect pinned to enclaves. Some will say thank you to President Buhari; we will say, you have delivered on one of your promises, which was to improve our security.”
Hakeem however, reminded the President, that there was hunger and starvation in the land. He said, “We will not join those who say President Buhari, should stop reminding us of a past that is haunting us today, but we will join those who remind him daily, that hunger is stalking millions of homes.
“Inflation is making life difficult by the day. People are losing their jobs. Businesses are closing down. “Infrastructure is decaying. Young Nigerians are losing hope of being employed. Our hospitals are full of people who suffer mysterious illnesses, and they cannot afford the fees.”
Hakeem, said despite the current economic woes in the country, the Northern votes for Buhari in 2015, were not wasted, insisting that the North did not make a mistake in voting for the President. He added, “So, those who are disposed to listen, please listen. Northern votes were not wasted in electing President Buhari.
“In 2019, we will also use our votes in a manner consistent with our interests as Northerners. We did not make a mistake in putting up a solid, united front as Northerners, in spite of our ethno-religions differences.” Meanwhile, the Chairman, Northern Governors Forum, and helmsman of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, has said that nobody, be it the Indigenous People of Biafra, or any other separatist agitators, can divide Nigeria.
Shettima, said the current calls by some Nigerians, particularly the Igbos, and other ethnic nationalities in the country, were purely the handiwork of those who had lost in the “chess of power politics” in the country.
He noted, that there was no single ethnic nationality in the country that had a greater stake in the continued existence of Nigeria than the Igbos, saying that continuous agitation for the decimation of the country, would remain an illusion.
Besides, Shettima argued that the greatest tragedy that befell the country, was the emergence of the Goodluck Jonathan administration. The Borno State Governor, further noted that the Jonathan administration, made every effort to not only divide the North, but the entire country along ethnic and religious lines.
He added, that no matter the differences, nobody, or group could balkanize the Nigerian nation.

Romance / Re: 20 Good Ways To Keep Your Girlfriend Obsessed With You. by Yobo34(m): 8:13pm On Sep 27, 2016
royalvalentine19:
1. Tell her she's 'BEAUTIFUL' Not hot or Sexy.
Most guys tend to make this mistake, you compliment her by saying she is hot and sexy , wtf? You should only do that with call girls(ashewos),hoes etc.

2. Hold her hand, just because you love her.
You should always hold hands with your babe most times, girls at times feel so insecure , i have experience this a lot of times. I and my girl friend took a walk down the street, some guys started whistling trying to get her attention. I held her hand.. You just have to see how she clung on. Hold hands everytime.

3. Leave her voice messages to wake up to.
Don't over do this one ooo..but it works ,Drop a voice message on her whatsapp or facebook messenger.sing her favourite song. And say you love her.do this ones in a month

4. Wrestle with her, and let her win.
Girls like to be superior even when they know we are , you can initialize a pillow fight or wrestling with her and let her win[fun huh]?

5. Hug her from behind.
You own her, grab her from behind. In the kitchen, while she is doing laundry.etc

6. Don't hang out with your ex when she's not around. It kills her inside.
This one right here breaks relationship like die. Bruh, dont try it !

7. If you talk to another girl,
walkover to her after you're done
and kiss her.

Gives her the assurance you aint gonna double date or ditch her.

8. Write her notes or call her just to say I love you.
It's necessary.

9. Introduce her to your friends, as your girlfriend/wife.
Bruh if you do this, her head will swell like garri. I assure you. It also gives her the assurance that she is here to stay.

10. Play with her hair.
her hair is just like her skin, play with her hair, when she lies down on your laps.

11. Pick her up, even when she says no.
You have a car or not Pick her up from work, or school.

12. Get upset if she gets unwanted contact from someone else.
Real men will scold their spouse anytime anyday. But dont do this publicly and always, if you do, she will think you are jealous

13. Make her laugh, just because you love to see her smile.
Crack jokes. Try to have a good sense of humor.

14. Let her fall asleep in your arms.

15. If she's mad at you, kiss her, don't fight back.
I know of girls that can nag like hell, dont get angry if she is mad at you, move close and kiss her when she is still nagging to keep her shut/calm.

16. If you care about her, tell her,or else she won't come back.

17. Every girl should receive three
presents from her guy:

a teddy bear(she'll hug it when she goes to sleep),jewelry (she'll treasure it forever), and one of your shirts (she'll wear it to bed).

18. Treat her the same with your
friends as when you are alone.

19. Look her in the eyes and give her your best smile.
She finds this hot, trust me

20. Hang out with her on the weekends, because she's important
to you

Weekends only! Dont over do it, i have my reasons.

Meehn, even the 10 commandments easy pass dis!!
