While many claim it is the likeness of the Virgin Mary, others say it looks like Jesus. Still others claim to see the image of Mother Mary holding baby Jesus in her arms. There are, of course, skeptics who claim the image on the tree is only an illusion. They claim people only see what they want to see.

Apple Inc. has announced it took a record 4 million preorders for its iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in the first 24 hours of availability. Starting on Friday, excluding pre-orders over the weekend, although retail sales for the phones start Sept. 19, the company achieved the record in just 24 hours.


Apple confirmed that demand for the newly launched 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch 6 Plus ‘exceeds the initial pre-order supply and while a significant amount will be delivered to customers beginning on Friday and throughout September, many iPhone pre-orders are scheduled to be delivered in October.’ On Apple’s U.S. website, the company says that if a customer orders an iPhone 6 now it will ship it in seven to 10 business days, but shipments of the 6 Plus will not go out for about three to four weeks. The phones will go on sale first in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the United Kingdom starting Sept. 19, and in 22 additional countries including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, the Isle of Man, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates-beginning on Sept 26.

Femi Sylvester Mayomi popularly known as Father 'U' Turn is dead. The singer who was very popular in the 90’s for hit singles like ‘yetunde’ died this morning at Okokomaiko in a car accident, a music promoter says. But his friend, another musician says, he died due to kidney complications. I know the singer has been trying to make a big comeback before his sudden death. Whatever took him away, we say, may his soul rest in peace.

Another source just confirmed that he has been sick for the past 3 weeks before passing away this morning, but refused to say if he had a kidney problem or not.
