That’s what Akon told TMZ. His words to them below; Women aren't built to mate with more than one party ... men are. As a male, we're natural breeders by nature and women need to take more time to understand how men are built. We can't even escape it if we wanted to. Ladies do you agree ? Guys any comment? source: http://www.yomiafolabi.com/2013/11/women-arent-built-to-mate-with-more.html#.UoPFc_tH7HI

I Wish I Could Pay Back Every Money They Spent On Brymo! Annie Idibia's Manager Takes A Shot At Choc City Label Most of you must have read this story. Brymo is no more with Choc City. He just released a new album and he has no right, just like no one else does to sell the album, except it's been sold by Choc City because he has an agreement with them which won't end until 2016. He can't perform anywhere, he can't get any brand endorsement deal, he can't release new singles, except it's all under Choc City because they already have a court injunction restricting him from doing all of that. Well Annie Idibia's manager thinks it's unfair on Brymo to wait for two years doing nothing except he gets back with Choc City. She took to twitter where she expressed her disappointment. more captured tweet here http://yomiafolabi..com/2013/10/i-wish-i-could-pay-back-every-money.html#.Umlu4xCaInk

Following her encounter with Flu (due to the weather in London), Movie star, Genevieve Nnaji, was unable to register her presence at the premier of the well anticipated "half of a yellow sun movie" in the London Film Festival premiere, Odeon West End, last weekend. The director of the movie, Biyi Bandele, disclosed this on his Facebook page hours ago to express how much they missed the movie star and mother of one, Genny at the premiere. See his message below: “Just got back from the BFI London Film Festival European premiere of Half of a Yellow Sun at the Odeon West End. Humbled and moved by the rapturous reception the audience gave it. It was also great to see the hardest working actor on our hemisphere, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and the great John Boyega, and the amazing Babou Ceesay, and the one and only Onyeka Onwenu. And Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, of course. Without whom... We missed Thandie, who is on location in Vancouver. We missed Genevieve, who flew in for the premiere and promptly went down with a flu (mind yourself o, London weather). What a night though. What a night.” he posted see captured Facebook post here http://yomiafolabi..com/2013/10/get-well-soon-genevieve-nnaji-battles.html

The Eagles continued their march to victory and the 2014 World Cup by securing a 2-1 away win over the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia in the first leg of the World Cup qualifier at the Ydnekachew Tesema Stadium in Addis Ababa. The Ethiopians were the superior team for the first hour and led after 56 minutes as Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama misjudged a cross from Behailu Assefa but the Eagles equalised through Emmanuel Emenike's ferocious drive after 67 minutes. Emenike later won and scored a penalty late in the game to seal a 2-1 win. It was an excited Nigeria team that received the $4,000.00 cheque from Guinness; the proud sponsors of the Super Eagles after their match. The return leg will be played on November 16 in Calabar, Nigeria. This would be an opportunity for the Super Eagles to cement their place in the World Cup with an outright win. via yomiafolabi..com

Wife of Nigeria’s president, Patience Jonathan, on Thursday added one more Honorary Doctorate degree to her gallery after a South Korean University honoured her. It is her fourth doctorate since becoming Nigeria’s First Lady. The awarding institution, Hansei University, said they honoured Mrs. Jonathan because she had worked “hard for many good causes.” “I was just doing my own thing not knowing that in far away Asia everything was being noted. I want to assure you all that with God’s help I will do more,” ”My grandma used to say: `Whatever little you have, share; If you have a thousand and you can’t share, you won’t share a million if you have’. Mrs. Jonathan said, thanking the Koreans. “She’s a humanitarian who has dedicated her life to working for the less privileged in Nigeria and Africa especially for women and children,” president and Chancellor of Hansei University, Sung-Hae Kim said. ”Her vision as the defender of the poor in Nigeria fits into Hansei University’s motto of a practising Christian. Now she’s part of our community,” Prof. Kim added. The university also said it chose her for the degree because of her dedication to prayer. ”I was surprised that she travelled here for the Church Growth International conference years back to pray for Nigeria. For her selfless work, Hansei University confers this degree on her,” Yonggi Cho, co-founder of the Hansei University. more gist: https://yomiafolabi..com

GUINNESS, official sponsors of the Nigeria Super Eagles, once again reaffirms its commitment to the success of the Super Eagles and urges Nigerians to stand behind the team on their march to victory and as they engage the Walya Antelopes. In support of this; the brand of choice, Guinness recently announced a $2,000 reward for each goal scored by the National team against Ethiopia in this weekend’s 2014 FIFA World Cup playoff match. Nigeria is ranked 36th in the world and 4th in Africa currently and with the Antelopes a distant 93rd in the FIFA rankings, the Eagles have a formidable side to play against. On paper, Ethiopia is an emerging force in African football. They qualified for the last Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa after a 31-year absence and finished top of their World Cup qualifying group ahead of Bafana Bafana, even after being docked three points for fielding an ineligible player. The Super Eagles defeated the Flames of Malawi to progress to the next round of qualifying matches and thanks to the unflinching support from Guinness and the massive support of millions of Nigerians, we have progressed this far. Once again, let us stand together and show solidarity with the team as they take on their next challenge. GO FOR GOLD, EAGLES...WE ARE BEHIND YOU!!!

In a recent interview with Hiphop World, Chininma addressed the issue of her rumoured love interests like Phyno & Dammy Krane. If you must, who would you date amongst Iyanya, Wizkid, Dammykrane and Davido. Chidinma: Iyanya has the body. Davido has the money, Wizkid is the Starboy, DammyKrane is a sweet, cute guy. Nigeria Came Into Being on Oct 1, 1960, Not 1914, Don’t Distort History — Fashola Tells Jonathan Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola said Nigeria came into being on October 1, 1960, and not in 1914 as he gave unsolicited advice to the Federal Government not to distort history by its planned centenary celebration in 2014. The Governor spoke at the Nigeria’s 53rd Independence anniversary parade which involved the Police, voluntary organizations, school children and Para-military agencies, led by Superintendent Chris Nwokolo, at the Police College, Ikeja. While addressing the gathering, Fashola said, “For me, Nigeria was born as an independent sovereign nation on October 1st, 1960. Perhaps she was conceived in 1914 but as we race towards this, it is important not to distort history.” He said this was because “a generation is coming behind us they need to be sure about the history of their fatherland. I will seek better understanding and explanation by those who are behind the centenary celebration. “This is because if we roll out the drums three years ago to celebrate the 50 years of Nigeria’s nationhood, the independent that we fought for and our nationalist went to jail for. “Many of our prominent leaders lost many things. Some lost their lives, some lost their dignity. Some lost their freedom.\ “The scars of those years of colonial dominion are firmly etched and preserved in the freedom Park on Broad Street in Lagos. It was built with bricks imported from England with money earned in Lagos in order to keep our nationalists in confinement.” “Let us be very clear October 1, 1960 was the day of nationhood for Nigeria. My teachers and parents thought me that history. I used to come out as a child to participate in the Independence Day parade exactly as the children that here today. “Then what is this centenary suddenly about because I don’t remember as a child ever coming on amalgamation day to celebrate the day. And suddenly how did we get to 100 when we did not celebrate the 50th, 60th and 99th anniversary.” “There is something wrong here. I don’t know why the celebration but I will like clarification. Maybe conception of Nigeria took place in 1914. But it is the date of birth of the child that one celebrates and I think that birthday is October 1st, 1960.” The Lagos State leader however called for tolerance and peaceful co-existence, saying “I am lending my voice to the appeal for peace across our land. “Only a peaceful solution must be found to arrest the present worsening stalemate and restore normalcy into the country. “I believe that we are too blessed to resolve our differences with threats of violence. For me, compromise is critical and we must all reach for it in order to make more meaning out of our situation.” https://yomiafolabi..com |
