tunlex01: I guess that’s ACCA.
you may give it a go and submit both Bsc, MBA and the Advanced diploma. It’s $495! Yes, that's ACCA. Please which organization am I submitting to and what's the process? I checked online but I can't seem to find useful information. Thanks |

tunlex01: you dont have enough courses in your Bachelors or masters to perform as an External auditor here. Your degree needs to be in Accounting. I have "Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business" degree as well. Would that count? |

Thank you, really appreciate simplebb: The recruitment is for entry level (business/engineering inclined graduates as posted in the advert). It is to infuse new/young brains and energy into the system (reason it came with some stringent requirements) and of course boost organization's productivity.
The use of accelerate. The Graduate accelerated Programme is more like a fast-tracked GT programme. In an IOC like shell, it takes 2-5yrs to complete GT training depending on the job role, some oil firms GT programme takes 3years. So Oando is simply saying we will fast track your training (commit more resources into it) such that the duration will be 18 months.
The recruitment is for both upstream and downstream.
The gross pay is 5million+, d person I asked didn't give the exact.
Only Oando HR can answer when the recruitment process will be concluded.

Many thanks for the swift response. I hope someone provides answer to the other questions. ennyj01: I only have answer for number 3 It is for both upstream and downstream
About the salary, @jarus posted in the 2012 recruitment that the annual pay was 3.5 million
So the pay should be more by now or still same thing by now.
Only @jarus can help with all the questions you asked and I hope he comes to this thread and help us with info. |

Good evening everyone, just wondering. What’s this recruitment all about? I am asking because; 1. I checked online for a similar recruitment done in the past by Oando but I couldn’t get any useful info 2. The use of ‘accelerate’ in the title. Does it mean people that get in would have accelerated growth to managerial roles or Something? 3. What arm of Oando is the retirement for? Upstream or downstream?
Furthermore, does anyone here have an idea of the pay? Either gross or net. And when will the recruitment process be concluded?
These questions are just out of curiosity and I do not expect anyone to have a definite answer but any valuable info would be appreciated.
Thank you |

It is funny that those that graduated before 2014 but didn't get a job 2013 were not factored into the recruitment process because apparently they don't fit into 6-9 years minimum work experience requirement for experienced hire, neither do they fit into the graduate trainee! not good enough, but what do I know?! I wish the successful candidates the best. |

Pretty simple, I didn't research much but I can tell you that all they (First bank) need do is to drive every single employee to get customers, habits of the new generation banks, they will achieve and even surpass the target. Also, the writer said GT bank's worth more than First, I disagree, google is our friend, we can check ourselves. I might be wrong tho, but I have not heard from any first bank staff that they drive them crazy to open accounts for new customers et al. And mind you for every strategic statement, tactical and operational statements have been made to make sure goal is achieved, they are FIRST and they don't bluff. So instead of writer crucifying them, he should wait till the end, if they don't achieve the goal, then he can lash them. #MyHumbleOpinion juddexy2: Guys,I came across this latest news of F BN on LinkedIn which directed me to this source..what's your take?

......... cloud9usher:
Cut the dude some slack please!
I'd like to congratulate everyone who has gotten documentation invitation, and to those of your who have conducted your AC and not gotten your documentation invite and are already getting a little bit worried, please don't be.
Like I said weeks ago, this whole thing would be in batches, and passing the aptitude test was the biggest feat you achieved on your way to working with First Bank, as long as you did your AC to a 50% pass level (which I know at least 75% of us did) you are assured that you would make it into First Academy, the only thing is that the waiting periods would defer between a lot of us, yours truly has not gotten his own documentation invitation yet as well and I'm happy I wasn't selected for documentation this week because I couldn't have made it due to my present engagements.
I'm so happy documentation invites have started coming out as planned, this means we are on track again and unnecessary delays have been eliminated.
Big congrats again to all my prospective FBN staff who got documentation invites, all the best guys! |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by youcanconfirm: 11:33am On Dec 05, 2016 |
Just to clarify please, Head office or branch? apostlekeke: Good morning. To apply, you need to be less than 27yrs with a min. of Second class lower from a university. Go to any UBA branch and submit your CV to a staff there. The recruitment used to be contract. Now it's changed to permanent employment, but with a 1yr probation(business associate). If ur performance is satisfactory ie no disciplinary record with a good appraisal then u wil be converted into an ET( executive trainee). The salary is 80k for business associate, and 150k for executive trainee. If u didn't perform well in your first year, ur engagement will be terminated. Cheers |
