Nigeria is a good country but nobody trust nobody, this a true life story and i hope others can learn from it. Few blocks from my place a man wants to sell his toyota camry 08,every morning he displays the car outside,at night he drive it in,some buyers would come to inspect the car "inside his compound", last week i got the news that the seller got robbed at night, the gate was pulled down, the thieves robbed the flats and took the car. yesterday i got to know he wasn't the owner of the car, he's a mechanic who's selling the car for a client. Now he has been arrested by the police for planning to steal the client's car. Sincerely is this a good thing? I wanna ask if it ok for a private car seller to give a mechanic is car to sell car for him or her or a private car seller to allow buyers inside his compound where he lives to check or inspect a car?

hynex79: You may not be totally right.I'm currently in the US for a visit n I bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 here. After reading ur post n seeing the samsung galaxy s4 version for the network carriers,I thought my phone was a fake S4(not for the issues u listed above). I decided to call Samsung customer service to find out if my phone is real or fake. I did and gave them my IMEI number and I found out that my phone is real but it is an International/African version of the Samsung Galaxy S4(which to me is better because its doesn't need unlocking).They also gave me their website for africa(www.samsung.com/africa_en) which i visited n discovered the pictures on the page matches mine.The American version and the International African version have slight differences but they are all genuine phones. Just because a person has a different version other than American does not necessarily mean that the phone is fake. It could be an international version like in my case. The key is to call Samsung and give them your IMEI and they will tell you if your phone is genuine or not. I hope the experience that I went through helps..

mr man there's nothing like african version, you cant compare branded phones(attnt,t moblie,verizon) to international unlocked S4...can you watch the youtube videos on page 4-5 or check out the picture? this thread is open for people intending to buy S4 on how to spot a fake, and those using S4 can check their phone out to see if what they bought is genuine

And the china S4 is named Samsung but when the battery is removed you see SINSUNG. For example.. A london used AT&T branded Phone would last longer than a New one.

The issue i have is the phone is stocked on 2G as when i go to Settings>>mobile-networks, it will not change from "gsm only" to WCDMA or GSM/WCDMA(auto). Kindly assist me cos i have been going up and down google, android forums, youtube etc;and solution that seems to work for others refused to work on mine. I had to fall back on tethering wifi from my galaxy tab just so i can open a web page on the Galaxy S4 with no High BP. I am using Airtel on it and the sim seem to have 3G provisioning cos i tried on two other devices and the "H" sign with arrows pointing up and down was on the screen and the speed was fast. Kindly assist me pls before you guys mourn another nairalander (though some who see me as a menace will be happy if i Should "Proof vemuz SOB" ). Counting on you sir

1. Can you goto storage memory in setting
2. Click on file, if you see SD Card 1.8gb, let me know
3. Goto camera if it doesn't have the mic icon or the voice shoot,cheese, or smile words let me know and also check the camera quality.

I don't know about Nigeria but all mobile phone retailers always have an exemplar of the phones they sell on display for customers so that they can go through it before purchasing.

If they display something different from what customers receive in sealed packets, then it's a crime.
