Ohh, that's a lucky break that I came across this topic. Well, I have a question about Malaysia. We're going on a honeymoon there and I wonder if you know some cool hotels. I've already found at this site a pretty good location called Seaventures Dive Rig. The problem is that it's more for scuba diving enthusiasts, than for a couple. Any ideas which hotel to choose? I would appreciate any advice.

If you are coming to Malaysia with a social visa. I will advise you change your honeymoon plans somewhere else. Immigrants coming to Malaysia with a "social visa" are always sent back.

Students who are intending to study in Malaysia.

I went through the thread and found out some people are applying for Public Universities in Malaysia.

Well i'm studying here in Malaysia, from my experience private universities are better than the public universities. I studied in UPM after some months I had to leave, I still have friends there who are regretting their decision to remain there. Reasons because the public universities are dominated by Malaysian and some Indians who are terrible RACIST!. When it comes to admission process and visa renewal it's quite stressful, and for some other reasons their certificates are not well recognized overseas. Student should be aware that in MSC there is Masters by research and Masters by Course work.

Most Private Universities in Malaysia are UK awarded. Meaning their courses are thought in Malaysia and the degree is awarding by UK universities. "Though private universities are a little expensive" ranging from RM12,000 to RM20000 annually.

My opinion and advise to students intending to study Undergraduate or Masters should apply to private Universities. Student intending to study PHD can study in Public Malaysian universities because they are more respected than Undergraduate students in public universities.

Westminster College.

Talking about Malaysia there's racism YES!but if you must know there racism in United State and United kindom too! even within Nigeria "Tribalism" You all see the bad part of Malaysia and South Africa! Have you open your eyes to the Good about each country. Your parent is paying Millions per year to studying in CU, Madonna University and so on, the best 20 University in Africa has Majority of South African Universities. Uni Joburg per session +/- 600k x 3yrs can never be compared to Nigerian Universities. Malaysia, pay less for a UK, USA, Australian awarding universities. We have lot of 3+0 universities in Malaysia like Nottingham Trent Uk, Sheffield Uni Uk, U.S universities, Australian Universities with a school fees +/- 600k x 3yrs. Don't be ignorant. And some people will travel to a country and reside in the "mushin" or "Oshodi" of that country and then conclude that the country sucks. I feel sorry for you.
