They expect you know the person you claim to be visiting. There is nothing like just accommodating. If the individual decides not to pick your calls, does that mean you would now recourse to public funds as you would have no accommodation? Home office does not want that.

In my opinion you don't need a sponsor.
You are going for the purpose of an exam as a working adult so why would someone sponsor you.

The 2 million you put covers the cost of an Air bnb right? If there is someone you can stay with such that it covers accommodation then in that way they cover accommodation costs. You can indicate that in the other information box in the form and in any other relevant area. So long as the person provides evidence of that .
This would reduce your spend a bit.

You would need details of the exam, date and that you have paid as well to include on the application

Unfortunately due to many fake and sham marriages you will need to prove that yours is not one of them.
Here are common documents UKVI accepts to show a genuine and subsisting relationship for a partner dependent visa. Include as many as apply to your situation.

- Marriage certificate or civil partnership certificate (and divorce decrees if applicable)
- Previous marriage/civil partnership certificates for both parties (if relevant)

- Evidence of living together (cohabitation)
- Tenancy or mortgage documents in both names or a joint tenancy agreement
- Utility bills (gas/electric/water/telecom) in both names or at the same address
- Council Tax bills in both names
- Bank statements showing the same address for both parties
- Joint bank accounts or financial investments
- Pensions or life insurance policies naming both parties
- Sharing of major household expenses (receipts, transfers, or payments)
- National Insurance/employment letters showing the same address or partner details (where available)
- Evidence of regular contact over time: letters, cards, emails, phone calls and messages
- Travel records showing trips together (plane/train tickets, hotel bookings)
- Photos together over time with captions or dates
- Statements or letters from family and friends confirming the relationship (third-party affidavits or statutory declarations)
- Birth certificates of children naming both partners
- Parental responsibility documents or documents showing joint parenting
- Shared insurance policies (home, contents, life, health) naming both
- Wills or end-of-life documents referencing each other
- Any official correspondence addressed to both at the same address (e.g., NHS, P60s, tax documents, hospital etc)

From my calculation, the amount you intend to spend on your 5-day trip is roughly equivalent to 6months of your savings. For UKVI applications, spending above 2–3 months’ worth of your salary on a short trip can raise concerns.

I would advise you to strengthen your finance or consider getting a sponsor to support your application.

Please don’t apply, because they are unlikely to grant you a visa. Spending above 50% of your total savings on a 5 days trip may be considered unreasonable by UKVI. Even your proposed ₦2m will most likely not cover your total expenses, considering that the cheapest flight ticket alone is around ₦1.5m.

It won’t work with top up. She should be able to sponsor her trip as an adult. She is not a mother or dad coming to visit their child or going for their child’s graduation. Refusals are high now especially if no travel history, no good financial standing, no palpable ties, no palpable reason for visit etc. They would look for a reason to deny. You can try if you don’t mind the possibility of a visa refusal on your immigration journey.

Graduated 2015 a 5 years degree (Transport Management) at LAUTECH, worked as a procurement specialist from dec 2017- dec 2024. I went for my masters(logistics and supply chain management) from sept 2021- sept 2022. I want to assess for information and organising professions NEC 2249999. In a situation where vetassess sees my undergraduate as not highly relevant, will they only count my experience post masters? I want to submit the following documents:

Cover letter justifying my reason for choosing information and organising profession 2249999

Am i good to go and will i get over 3 years of work experience? Please I would appreciate advise on how best to go about this

You can assess as a Marketing specialist with VETASSESS, have you written an english test? Try PTE and ensure to max your scores.

2 years for non-relevant qualification then 1 year normal deduction = 3 years
Check the information sheet and be sure the job descriptions fits your experience.
