1.Sex: it’s become boring and dull. Repetitive. Still nice but nothing special. Brushing my teeth is as nice. I’m looking forward to my next self-service as I’m fed up telling everyone on Quora that it’s harmless even though I haven’t done it for months because I can’t be bothered.

2. Sex: I’m no longer attractive to the people who could negate point 1.

3. Music, books and films aren’t as important to me. I love them all but they don’t affect me as they did. I can sing songs I learned 30 years ago word for word. I couldn’t sing a song I’ve heard today 30 times. I have no desire to study album covers and no longer know what my favourite singers look like.

4. It’s really awful knowing that you’re one step closer to death. When you’re young you can ignore it. In middle age your parents and people you know start dying. It’s frustrating knowing that it will happen to you sooner rather than later.

5. It’s extremely frustrating knowing that I will still be moaning about everything on this list in 5 years while complaining that I didn’t do anything in the last 5 years.

5 1/2 Nobody has done everything they wanted to. 9 or 900. There’s always something we should have, could have or have done and forgotten.

6. Standing up and / or sitting down become things you have to think about how to do.

Gravity becomes more noticeable.

7. Regrets. You know you shouldn’t regret anything. However, it still pisses you off knowing that you now know what you should have done. You regret not having regretted more in your youth. If you’d regretted more you wouldn’t have as much to regret now.

I regret saying that and apologise for repeating myself.

Today lets discuss about the disadvantages of not going to school. I know some might argue over this, but that is not the talk of the matter. after reading through, you may drop your opinion in the comment box. Below are the disadvantages

1. You don’t get the certificate of graduation which very useful for job application.

2. You fail to prove that you have a specialty in certain field.

3. You lost the opportunity to learn from many great people: your teacher, your professor, even your friends.

4. You lost your chance to increase your network.

5. By going to school, you can avoid to do the same mistakes that many people have done before.

6. By going to school, you can use all the facilities which has been provided.

7. By going to school, you might find your love or your best friend, and so on.

NB: I do believe that success is not determined whether you are going to school or not. Many people do not have the same opportunity to go to school that is why by answering this question, it does not mean that the people who are going to school is better than the ones who do not go to school

Emeka Anugwo, a 37 years old suspected fake JAMB official has been arrested and arraigned before a Lagos Magistrate Court for allegedly collecting the sum of N3,000 each from 70 prospective JAMB candidates to assist them to generate remita code, change their ages, courses and institutions without the consent of the examination body.

A Police source said that the Divisional Police Officer, DPO in charge of Ikoyi Division, Lagos, SP Tijani Mustapha ordered his men to arrest the accused following a complaint by the JAMB office in Ikoyi, Lagos through the co-ordinator of the Lagos JAMB office, Mr Sunday Aladegbaye.

The accused, a resident of Ibeju-lekki from Enugu State, Southeast Nigeria was charged before an Igbosere Magistrate Court, Lagos on a two-count charge of felony to wit, cheating 70 JAMB candidates. Prosecuting Police Officer, Okete Ejima informed the Court in charge No.H/29/2017 that the accused committed the offense between 1 May and 30 November, 2017 at his Cyber Cafe Shop at 7, Ojora Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Ejima told the court that the accused impersonated the Lagos JAMB officials and collected the sum of N3,000 each from about 70 candidates to help them generate remita code, change their ages, courses and institutions with the help of computer. He said that the offences the accused committed were punishable under sections 323(1) and 376 (2) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State,2017.

The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the offence in the open court and Magistrate A.A Famobiwo granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till 5 February, 2017 for trial. The accused was ordered remanded at the Ikoyi Prison, Lagos with a warrant till he fulfilled the bail conditions.

I've noticed, and I'm seriously concerned that there's a rise in the number of Muslims in the South West with extremist views and tendencies. My observation is not only in reference to this hijab issue, but also as a result of what I've observed in recent times.

In our Yorubaland, there's an unwritten rule that we are brothers and sisters-regardless of religion. For instance, there's an equal proportion of Muslims, Christians and pagans in my family and town. Yet, we all live together in extreme harmony.

But it appears that there's a growing number of people who are trying to replicate the Northern ethnically jaundiced 'brand' of Islam in Yorubaland. I will try and open a thread about this before the end of the year.

Regarding the Law school hijab issue, my position is that Firdaus erred. Call me whatever, I don't care! Doesn't Islam say we should obey the laws of the land? I know that you may want to argue that one is allowed to disobey if it violates God's law. But the question is: is it haram not to wear hijab? The basic answer is that nobody can say with certainty that not wearing hijab is a sin. I repeat-Nobody! In fact, hijab has so much to do with culture & the Arab tradition than the religion itself!

The sister just wants to be an overnight activist. The law school is governed by laws and rules which everyone-regardless of religion must follow. If she had been allowed, Sango worshippers must also be allowed to plait their hairs while Catholic nuns and priests can't be stopped from wearing their garments to the Call to Bar ceremony. What is good for the goose is good for the gander!

Let's stop all these extremist views joor! The sister can freely wear her hijab in Sharia courts. Nobody will disturb her there.
