In line with efforts by the CBN to increase financial inclusion by increasing access to financial services both to the un-banked and under-banked persons in Nigeria, we want to sign-up and engage over 3000 new "Mobile Money Agent" in every nook and cranny of Anambra State. These "Money Agents" will be evenly spread across every wards and LGAs of the State, hence our need for field officers that would represent us in each LGA and help us identify, recruit and manage their activities.

The whole dragnet recruitment process was cancelled. A fresh one was conducted. Its rather unfortunate that as big as MTN, a gold-star IIP holder, they could notl inform those who were invited for the interview that the process has been terminated; kept them waiting hopelessly without any feedback or information.

Such a shame.

Dragnet was never involved in interview, they only screened and shortlisted candidates.

Someone said she has gotten an employment letter : Was it the new process that got her the job?

Any news from last week's competency-based interviews?

For which positions ?

Even those that have been interviewed weeks/months back, no one has been sent an offer letter or atleast been communicated back at.

I once said that this process would go way beyond this year but some people didn't understand.

The hustle is real, the wait has just begun!!!

Bro, i asked him this same questions and demanded an answer as his post is tantamount of confusing people but he took it personal rather than providing answers and as a matured mind and not to derail the thread and to avoid insult i systematically withdrew.

As at August he was invited for a two round of oral interviews and also got invite for an oral interview this October but from what i was able to deduce he applied for "different roles"( not just one role) and he is getting invites for them.

I hope this explains it.

i have followed this thread with keen interest from day one so my objectivity to posts made here is not in doubt.

Many people are also following this thread as their only source of genuine information and insight as to what is happening with the process so it will do us all good to keep our posts simple, specific and with every clarity it deserves so that people will know and understand the stages per time per time.

You cant tell me you have undergone three interviews after your simulation test and you expect me to swallow it (am not a dummy) but i now understand your situation,thanks for clearing the air.

MTN has begun conduct of 2nd phase interviews for the roles.. I did a second interview conducted my MTN N, after the simulation test and all..
Its likely they will contact today... They often reach out on Fridays ..

@rychard pls how many positions did you applied for and how many times have you been invited for interviews by mtn. i find your posts on this thread very controversial and contradicting. You also stated earlier that the process is been almost concluded (which i personally challenged and refuted) and now you are singing a different song. You claim you have undergone two interviews since august after your simulation test yet no offer has been made to you by mtn only for them to invite you again for an interview in a different position. Pls explain so that you stop confusing people that are genuinely and patiently waiting for their turn.

Very articulate and straight to the point.

Like i said before, this is a massive recruitment. By my estimation over 120 positions were advertised and is nearly impossible for an organization like mtn to fill in such positions even in a space of six months.

This process is still much on-going and it might even last beyound this year(2017) as mtn nigeria is undergoing massive restructuring. So there will be no need coming here to tell people that the process is almost concluded or to tell people that have not been called after their simulation test to give up, except if you are the CEO of mtn nigerian. People should only be worried when their positions are called and they are not invited.

A friend of mine got an invite yesterday for an interview this friday (tomorrow) and many position are still yet to be called for interview. The invite is serial, not random and based on position applied for ie units/departments/divisions.

giving us an insider information ?
Remember over 100 positions were advertised and I doubt if up to 50% has be
called or filled.
I did my simulation test on the 5th of August (and there were others that did after us and so on) and I don't even think they ve started calling my batch ( I stand to be corrected)


I believe the process is very much ongoing, it will take a lot of time and patient.
