On d contrary I had a sweet/sour experience which is very normal. U were not supposed to pass thru Kano/Mad road to start with. U were not informed that u don’t need to go with all ur money too?

I was only trying to let intending travellers know what to expect on the journey to Senegal.
You see, in life, we should be truthful and open so as not make innocent Nigerians go on a voyage that they will regret. It is best to learn from other people's mistake and not on one's self mistakes.

I just want guys to know what to meet on the journey. Okay, take for instance, where in Nigeria is food served with bare hands in Nigerian restaurant?.

Even in the village in Damaturu it won't happen.

But if you tell these guys that food like rice is served with bare hands in Senegal they start telling you you should not spoil other people's country.

What about their immigration extorting Nigerians. Is it a lie?

I met a girl in Cotonou who said Senegalese immigration collected Nigerian guy's phone when he did not have money they were asking for at the border. The girl and the boy were travelling together.

I myself was sent back to Zinguizhor at the border for trying to tell the immigration to collect 3k cefas instead of the 5k they asked for because I saw them collecting 2k from other African nationals.
I later wanted to give them the 5k but they rejected it for trying to negotiate and dropped my luggage from the bus I boarded from Zinguichor to Dakar.

I had to take a longer route (Tambakunda route) to Darkar and spent more money.
I regretted my action though for trying to negotiate the bribe and I promised myself I won't do that again. Just give them what they ask and move on with your journey.

THESE ARE ALL EXPERIENCES YOU HAVE TO LET NAIRALANDERS KNOW so that they won't make same mistakes as you made. So they can get themselves prepared mentally and financially for such journeys.

But when I said all these one guy here started calling me names for being open and sincere.
