You see the place where it says AFTER reciting the prayer, then close off by reciting 3x Suratul Inshirah (Q 94), 3x salutations upon Nabi Muhammad (SAW), after these two, you can now put your request.
So, there is:
1. Before
2. The main prayer
3. After
4. Then your request/wish/dua/niyyah/etc

EDIT: I would encourage you to incorporate at least 100X Istigfar with the Before.

YUNGCONCEPT11, nice one! You can recite it at any of these times:
During Tahajjud
Immediately after salat Fajr
Between salat Asr and Salat Maghrib

It's very nice if you can incorporate it into your daily wird. But if you can't do it daily for now, then once every week (preferably on Frida) should suffice.
Please as you read it, do study the wordings to really understand this beautiful dua and feel its impact as you recite.

Wow! Your sensation during zikr and salat is interesting. And yes, very true that we all can't get the same feelings. I believe it's an opportunity to learn from others because if we were all the same, there would be nothing new to gain or learn.

The prayers vary depending on Niyah or purpose of prayer.

For instance, when you reach every mubin you recite

سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ الدُّبُرَ (54:45

100 times, ya Qohar and ya jabar 100 times

Again it depends on what your prayer is about. I used this Ayah to dismiss court case. And the case stopped immidiately after case was filled till now. And In Sha Allah it will never rise again and I don't stop either. It not just for court cases but anything. And open your mouth and tell God that you want. You may also you use to distract evil people following you. But read the meaning of the Ayah if you can.

In the same instance you use Ayah of rizq(sustenance) to draw wealth or favor like I did with loan

Isn't it amazing how some muslims run (sometimes secretly) in their direction while some of then run towards Muslims, even if secretly too?

One day (about 2 years ago), I was shown in a dream a very popular pastor woman; by those "messengers" - they always come in two or threes.
I don't know this woman in anyway, have never met her, never spoken to her, etc. I just know that she is very popular as per mega church with her husband.
They presented her and they were telling me that she recites ayatul kursi before every service because she knows the importance of that ayah!!!!!
They also said no one in her congregation knows she does this and she tells no one about it.
They presented her in an accusatory manner as one would a criminal (I guess because she is leading people astray?).
The dream finished and I was baffled as to why I would see her to begin with?
I decided to do a small investigation and asked who knew her for a while and all I heard was "ah! omo alfa!"
Say what? They all said that she grew up in a very Islamic home and her dad was an alfa, etc. That her husbad too grew up in a very religious and islamic home.
I don't know why she was presented or shown to me in a dream to begin with, but I do know that the deception out there is on a massive scale now.
Everytime I see her or her husband on a billboard, I just whisper to myself - omo alfa! ayatul kursi!

Relatives in Abuja have made mention to me of some people who sell zamzam water telling them that their number 1 customers are christians!
They said the christians told them that zamzam water is filled with power and they use it for their "holy water" - of course they won't mention it to the mass congregation.

Another one mentioned to me that happens every Ramadan (last ten nights) is that some pastors will be asking their congregation? "Which favours of your Lord will you deny" and they will answer in mass chorus, "None"!!! Repeatedly like a chant/zikr.
Surah Rahman - (repeated 31 times)
See how engaging they are with that verse by replying none? Even we Muslims just repeat it and move on without pondering upon the reasons for repetition.
That they stay vigil all those ten nights! Some naming those days as "nights of miracles and power".
Meanwhile, some of us are asleep after stuffing our bellies.
We are quick to ask to see hadith to show proof. Buhari and Muslim did not say XYZ in their books, etc.
We accuse others of not following the Salafis.
We are quick to accuse others of being Kaafirs.
They are quietly appropriating our heritage and we are shamelessly swimming in the ocean of ignorance.

The pastor is based in Abuja
My friend say he always beg him not to reveal it's identity.
Even the Alfa that thought me kewu during my teenage years once told me. There is pastor who used to come to him.

I never knew many of us were searching for the that Tirá thereafter I actually got it, it was the last on the shelf! This should be late last year in Ilorin.

Its really old, brown-papered and the calligraphy is of the highest standard (old styled) and most of us who learnt using the "normal" Arabic calligraphy will find it really hard to comprehend (I'm actually looking for someone who could help transcribe it to "simple" Arabic/English).

I took it to my Sheikh, when he started reading and explaining the first page to me, apparently contains the instruction, and some 10s upon tens of Rakat will be part of the preliminaries . Though he didn't go further with the explanations.

Unfortunately, I left it in Ilorin, and I'm presently in another state. I'll send for it and when I lay my hands on it, I'll take some shots for Oga Empiree to verify if its "Daawatul Jabbarriyah" or one of its contemporaries.

It seem you don't know me. First, I'm not a Christian. Secondly, I have no sentiment against Islam. Please see my threads; https://www.nairaland.com/usermane/topics. I've written in favor of Qur'an for over 5 years, but since I don't believe in religious labels or affiliations, I do not hesitate to criticize Islam or the Qur'an where necessary.

As for Maurice Buccaile, I've seem his 'testimony', nothing impressive to be honest. What an embarrassment.

All kinds of people embrace Islam, just as all kinds of people leave Islam. It is unfortunate bias in the part of the Muslim to assume all converts are stable and moral human beings while all apostates are unstable and immoral.

Who told you that ex-Muslims are unstable? I've found fine Muslims who were devoted and steadfast give up Islam, not because they thirst for beer or long for a brothel. But after engaging these ex-Muslims, I found these to be serious folks who seriously considered Islam before resolving it is a man made faith.

As to Islam being the 'fastest' growing religion, it doesn't mean anything. What about Christianity that has had the largest followers for the past centuries?

Now, once you're done marveling at the growth of Islam in the west, you can turn your attention to the middle east where ex-Muslims are increasing. People are leaving Islam, especially for atheism in Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, so much that committees to intellectually tackle atheist thoughts have been set up.
