He has LP senators and house members. He should speak to them first. Instead of seeking attention telling us what we already know in a bid to sound intelligent.

If he were really different and not just another repackage typical Nigeria politician who is part of the rot, nothing stops him from instructing his LP assembly members to initiate cost cutting bills in the house and senate. Let it be rejected but let it be on record this is where you and your party stand not making noise on Twitter.

After all he is the leader of the LP and most of not all of those elected under LP owe their election to Obi.

Christianity EtcRe: Celebrating Four Years Of Victory Over Pornography And Masturbation Addiction by Yvngex(m): 1:31pm On Aug 11, 2024
iamphenomenal:
As always, I return all glory to God. Today marks four years I buried the addiction of pornography and masturbation, which had plagued my life for many years.

All my journey and challenges, as well as my past success stories are recorded here on Nairaland, on the great platform where I met fellow fighters facing the same struggle - Masturbation Quitting Challenge Thread
https://www.nairaland.com/5223408/masturbation-quitting-challenge-thread

Note: As I've always emphasized, I didn't replace this addiction with fornication (as many people propose as a solution). All through my recovery process till now I've never engaged in sex, as I'm not yet married. Glory to God!

This testimony is to encourage anyone struggling with the same (or any other addiction) that total victory is possible. Trust in God. Engage in accountability. Don't give up!

Till next year. God spare my life.

Long live Nairaland!

The governor is trying hard to clear it and still building roads, changing abia with little resources at his disposal.

Let's try and appreciate what he is doing else other governors will say after all Nigerians does not care if u steal or not
Oga stop deceiving yourself. These road projects had been paid for by the previous government but the contractors had not delivered, so the new government was simply ensuring that those who had signed the contracts would deliver on their long-term projects.

AgricultureRe: Farmers, How Are You Selling Your Maize? by Yvngex(m): 9:10pm On Jul 11, 2024
Peacefultosin:
You should not make loss if you sell a cob of maize for at least N50. I am not saying you should not charge higher so that you can raise your income/profit from the farm.

I think you need to check the elements of your costs and amount inccured on each to know where you need to apply cost reduction techniques.

Like someone rightly said, eliminating the activities of middlemen in transactions will give you more income and consequently higher profit but necessary value addition (with its consequences) will be taken care of by you.

Lastly, you should think of intercropping the maize with other crop(s) on the same piece of land so that the cost will be distributed on all crops planted on the land.
An intelligent way to survive the market 👌

TravelRe: Share Your Experience First Time You Travelled By Air by Yvngex(m): 4:47pm On Jul 06, 2024
immortalcrown:
Let me just copy it from one of my previous posts.

In my JSS1, my school took me and my schoolmates on an excursion to an airport. We were not allowed to enter an airplane because of 911 attack. But years later, I travelled by air.

The first flight I boarded was a local one. No family member or friend to guide me. I didn't know how and where to go when I entered the airport. I saw a place marked "Departure" (entrance) and took the route. I got to a scanning point and was searched and scanned. I asked a random worker on uniform a question and he pointed to the ticketing stand of the company I was to use. The rest was easy to detect and follow until boarding time. I saw my seat number on my ticket but didn't know how to locate the seat when I entered the plane. I didn't see number on any seat. I didn't know that the seat numbers are on the roof (should I call it ceiling?), not on the seats. I asked an air hostess who gave me a strange look before directing me to check the roof part above the seats. My first experience of turbulence (galloping in air 😀) scared me.

Another funny experience was when a hostess pushing trolley around to pack wastes after the passengers had had snacks got to my side, I myself trashed the wraps of my snacks into a waste container on the trolley and the hostess gave me a strange look. I then observed and noticed that other passengers were relaxed and she herself was picking the trashes from the trays, meaning I shouldn't have bothered myself to do the trashing myself. That was it. After then, I have travelled by air to 3 countries without difficulties in navigating through airports.

One of the things I have learnt from travelling by air is that the bigger an airplane is, the more comfort the airplane offers. For most small airplanes, no enough space for your legs, and you have to stretch your hands to the ceiling to adjust AC, turn light off or on and to press call button. But in most of bigger airplanes, you do the operations on a touchscreen in your front, and you have more space for your legs. You can't (or let me say you are not allowed to) recline your seat in some small airplanes.
I don learn somethings sha 😄

[quote author=LocalFARMERS post=130403459]It depends the following factors.
1- Type of Groundnut: There are varieties of Groundnut and the seedlings. Each Groundnut have a purpose. Some Groundnut are not meant for producing Groundnut Oil. Cause it contain less Oil. These types of Groundnut is the type that is mostly sold as cooked or fried Groundnut.

There is another type of Groundnut that is mostly used for making Groundnut Oil. You can't cook or fry such groundnut. It doesn't even taste sweet due to the high level of Oil it contains.

2- Location: The location of your farm will also determine the quantity of Groundnut you can produce. Fertilizer is not used for groundnut. So, the land must be naturally fertile.

Southern Kaduna People produce Groundnut in commercial quantity. Cause their land is good for Groundnut. However, they mostly farm the Groundnut that is used for producing Oil. These groundnut are usually exported or processed in factories that produce Oil. Some local groundnut oil producers also use it to produce Oil.

Nasarawa also farm Groundnut in commercial quantity. They mostly farm the other type of Groundnut that is mostly cooked and fried.

4- How you care for your farm- Everything you farm needs care. You must keep weeds and pests away from your farm. The Groundnut needs regular weeding to keep weeds away. For good harvest, during weeding, you must use hoe to draw more soil to the Groundnut plant. This will enable it produce more

Wow.....I just now know that the Groundnut we eat everyday are different from the Groundnut used to produce Groundnut oil. Thanks for your enlightenment

LexngtonSteele:
Graphic - viewer's discretion (18+) shocked

A man has been caught with his pants down, shoving a petrol pump nozzle up his bum, while stroking his male member.

The strange clip, which unsurprisingly has gone viral on social media and left people with far more questions than answers, shows the elderly-looking man standing at a petrol station with his trousers pulled down.

He then takes the petrol hose nozzle and shoves it into his bum with one hand. With his other hand, he begins masturbating.

The creepy man slowly turns his head to see if anyone is looking and appears to spot the person filming him who starts shouting at him.

The man then takes the nozzle out of his backside, removes his other hand from his genitals and starts to pull up his pants before the 12-second clip cuts off.

Signs around the petrol station indicate the video was filmed in Italy.

The man's identity is, as yet, unknown, with local media seemingly unwilling to track him down and report on it.

When this type of thing happens in Africa, we say that the person must have been possessed by a foul spirit cause wth is this man doing?
