So yesterday, Bola Tinubu kick started his campaign in Jos which had in attendance president muhammadu Buhari. One would think that Buhari presence will lite up the venue but reverse was the case . Infact, it was a shameful outing if compared to the presidential campaign of the labour Party flag bearer and front runner, Mr Peter Obi in this same Jos and same venue ..

If we must be honest with ourselves, Mr Peter Obi cult like followers in Jos outnumbered the people at Tinubu campaign rally yesterday despite Buhari presence and massive import of people from the neighbouring states by APC to the Tinubu campaign yesterday and this leave to the big question on everyone's lips right now, Will Buhari honour Tinubu to be at his campaign ground going forward ??

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday, suffered a gaffe at the party’s presidential campaign flag-off in Jos, the Plateau state capital.

The former governor of Lagos, captured in a now-viral video, almost said “God bless PDP” before he corrected himself.

“God bless PD… APC. God bless APC. APC. God bless APC. We will have the victory. God bless you,” he said.

The development is generating mixed reactions among Nigerians, especially those on social media who have now tagged “PDAPC” as the new party in Nigeria.

According to Benjamin Williams, “This (PDAPC) is their new party (laughs).”

“PDPAPC are one and the same. They are not identical twins. They are the same. Like 1 & 1 Vote Peter Obi for President,” a twitter user with handle @mc_uyi1 declared.

Another user simply identified as Philips said; “God bless PDAPC.. On your mandate we shall stand. See them! MANDATE (laughs).”

The presidential candidate of the Al Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu on Tuesday made a blunder in his remarks in Jos, Plateau State when he hailed and prayed for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Tinubu was in Jos for the flag-off of his presidential campaign.


Tinubu had in his closing remarks after his speech prayed for Nigeria and PDP.

His words: God bless Nigeria, God bless PD…

He then repeatedly mentioned God Bless APC many times to atone for his error.

Nigerians on social media have used the incident in Jos to raise concern over Tinubu’s fitness to govern Nigeria.

‘This man is not fit enough to run for president.’, a twitter user with the handle,@gistpalava said.


Another Twitter user with the handle @tobywave_oim said ‘If Bola Tinubu can forget the name of his party, will he still remember his campaign promises when he is elected

On his part, @tobex_tobi said “We told you this old baba is not feeling okay, but you want to impose him on us, this is why he can’t go for any debate coz he’s not sound upstairs again.
