Christianity EtcRe: What Is Life? by z3ln0(m): 9:32pm On May 06, 2018
I will suggest you grab a copy of 'The power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle. More so you can read 'A new Earth' by the same author.

Basically the author spoke about the dysfunctionality of the human mind and how identification with it is the cause of suffering, essentially this is the Ego. The mind can't accept and surrender to what is i.e the isness and suchness of the present of moment. And as long as humans continue to be identified with their mind they'd continue to suffer. Untill there's a permanent shift in state of consciousness, meaning humans need to go beyond the mind, the need to 'see' or 'realize' that they are not their mind, and this realization is what is called 'awakening' or 'enlightenment' only then can they truly be at peace and free of suffering. Surrender here does not imply giving up on life and not chasing your set out goals but means yielding and not in resistance to whatever it is in the now. It starts with awareness and realising we are not our mind. If you say 'I think' are you the thought or are you the consciousness that is aware of thought. What do you think will happen if you stop thinking? Can you choose your next thought?

Before I stop here I'd just leave with a quote from one of the most influential and powerful man the world has ever seen - Marcus Aurelios ' Accept whatever comes to you woven in the pattern of your destiny, for what could more aptly fit your needs?'
Nairaland GeneralWho Else Has Experienced This With GTB USSD '*737#'? by z3ln0(op): 9:26pm On Oct 01, 2017
My phone was stolen and before I was able to block and retrieve my Line from MTN, the person has being able to use it to transfer funds from my account without knowing my pin or the last four digits on my debit card. My card was not stolen and I haven't disclosed my pin to anyone. More so I have not used the phone to transfer funds only use it to recharge my number and other peoples'. Please has anyone experienced same thing or knows how this could have been possible.

Thank you
