Good day my people's of Nairaland.

Please I submitted my application to VFS on the 20/08/2019.up to this moment,I have not received alert for collection.... I applied for short term visa (Visitors)

Please, what can I do now? I want brilliant advise from you guys....

and who know South African High Commission in Nigeria, their phone number please give me and send it to my Nairaland email.. thanks

Did you apply for long term or short term visa?

Don't bother calling their embassy number, especially the one in Lagos because it would never go through. I've never seen such level of incompetence , except in Nigeria of course.

If it's long term visa, you might need to wait a little or send an email to the director of home affairs in South Africa. They seem to be more receptive.

Only at Abuja. Yes you will certify your marriage certificate there too.

Hi Blissfulchild1. Pls,is it only my birth certificate I will certify or mine and relative person birth certificate will certify? Pls do guide me.....

Also,do you help someone to certify at Abuja?

Your child's birth certificate must be certified at the Ministry of foreign affairs in Abuja. My daughter's visa was denied in January for the same reason of her birth certificate lacking credibility. Had to authenticate it first at the Ministry of Foreign affairs before resubmitting it. Relative Visa it was tho.

Good Day Guys....... Please,I am phasing problem of submission of my application to join my brother in Republic of South Africa...... My first application was rejected base on "birth certificate not certified by government authority" said by them..... Which I thought they were referring to National Population Commission (NPC) and I went to NPC office at Lagos and did attestation and I went to VFS Office for submission again,when i got there to submit, the person attending to me refused to collect my application said to me that I need to take the Attestation letter to Ministry of Foreign Affaira Abuja for Certified.... please help me what can I do now, please way out guys

Pls,let say me and my brother we need it,that affidavit we need to take to NPC office,must it be separate affidavit or we can use one affidavit and put our photography on it?

I also need birth certificate, about the affidavit what be the content ( I mean what I mine go to write on that affidavit) pls guide me
