Popular gangster actor, Hanks Anuku is heartbroken at the moment. Like in a movie set, the actor is brooding over his wounds after news went viral online during the week, accusing him of testing positive to HIV/AIDS, and deliberately infecting his wife with the deadly virus. Anuku, who is hale and hearty has since refuted the report. His publicist, Bayo Adeoye while reacting to the report, described it as “not only confusing but a total lie.”

In an online chat with HVP, Bayo said “It is so sad the way our journalists are working. I wonder where the story came out from, and nobody bothered to seek for Hanks’ angle. I decided not to talk because the story is not only confusing but it’s senseless.” Bayo, however, confirmed that Hanks has been living in Ghana for the past four years, and is hale and hearty. The actor is said to be lamenting the bad light in which the news has put him and his immediate family members, most especially his wife and children.

According to him, “ There is no iota of truth in that story! This is me, I am fine and healthy.” Sources close to the actor, said he’s really devastated about the story that he slept with over 80 women in 2011, and deliberately inflected his beloved wife with the deadly HIV/AIDS virus. He’s also wondering why anyone would sit down to cook up such a terrible story when he has not offended anyone. News went viral online that the actor, who is now a born again Christian, was said to have revealed how he enjoyed life back in Zambia, sleeping with different women, and contracting the deadly HIV/AIDS virus which he later got his wife infected too. The news spread like a wildfire on the internet. But one wonders who could be demon that targeted at tarnishing Hanks’ hard earned name just for nothing.

A Jos High Court on Tuesday dissolved the marriage between Leonard Dilkon, a former member of the House of Representatives, and his wife, Joy.
Justice David Mann of High Court III, dissolved the marriage in his judgment on the petition filed by Joy, seeking an end to the union.

“The marriage between these two people has broken down irretrievably. It is hereby dissolved,” Justice Mann declared.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that Joy, through her counsel, Juliet Esoro, had filed a petition on Aug. 5, 2016 asking the court to dissolve the marriage because she was no more in love with her husband.
She also prayed the court to grant her access to the three children the marriage was blessed with. The children had been with their father since the marital crisis began in 2011.

She said since July 3, 2011, when the crises started, she had lived separately with her husband “without any conjugal relationship between them”.

But Mr. Dilkon, who did not oppose her plea for divorce, accused Joy of committing adultery with her pastor, Damjuma Fwenji.

The former lawmaker, through his counsel, Francis Okafor, accused the wife of being unfaithful to him “for à very long time”.

In his cross petition to the court, Mr. Dilkon claimed Joy once took in for Mr. Fwenji, but alleged that the pregnancy was aborted.

Mr. Fwenji, however, denied the allegation, and filed a motion seeking N10 million as compensation for the damage to his image and reputation.

Mr. Mann, in his judgement, declared that from all indications, especially from the evidences of the prosecution and defence witnesses, the marriage could not stand since all attempts to reconcile the couple had failed.

“From all indications, the marriage between Mr and Mrs. Dilkon has broken down irretrievable and I hereby declared it dissolved.

“As for the prayer for access to the children, the court hereby grants the mother of the three children equal access as their father, both at home and at school,’’ he declared.

On the issue of Mr. Dilkon’s claim of adultery against the wife and the clergy, the judge declared that that petition had failed as the “petitioner could not substantiate his claim before this honourable court.’’

“I hereby declare that Dilkon’s claim of adultery has failed and therefore is struck out.

“Fwenji’s demand for N10 million as damage can also not stand since he did not follow due process in filing his appeal. It is therefore discarded,’’ Mr. Mann further declared. (NAN)
