I cannot write story - The two of them performed beyond expectation. Cooger verse was enjoyable for me. Ibime was also superb but I'm leaning towards Cooger by a slight tiny margin.

He did really really well. He's the highest rated goalkeeper so far in the competition. He's in the top 10 list of the best players at the World Cup. The OP does not know what he's talking about. You cannot blame a goalkeeper defending a free-kick if the ball went over the wall into the unguarded area of the net. The wall should be defending that, not Enyeama.

Actually, they stand between the gap where the wall stops and the other post. It's the standard practise everywhere.

You can blame this goalkeeper because the goal was scored in the area of the net he was supposed to be guarding. Maybe Rooney's run confused him but this was poor from him. However, his starting position was correct and he should be minding the side of the net he's guarding.

Enyema's positioning was poor, yes, but he was shouting on top of his voice(even my younger sister noticed and was asking me why the guy was shouting like that) and calling the players on the wall to shift to the left which they hardly listen. They didn't shift properly which probably lead to Enyema's wrong positioning at the far right to be able to see the ball and eventually couldn't get to the ball nor dive when it was tàken over the wall to the far left.

Enyeama was not wrongly positioned - he stood where every top goalkeeper would have stayed when free-kicks are taken.

I also find his positioning for the kick very dodgy indeed. Like he was inviting Messi to score on his left side. The gap he left to his left was so wide. So why didn't he dive when the ball got there? Where else was he expecting the ball to go? ALL VERY VERY DODGY.

It seems you are a novice. When a freekick is about to be taken, there are 2 sides to defend. The goalkeeper must line up his wall on one side and he must stand at the other side of the post hoping his wall will defend the side he is not guarding. If the free-kick taker places the ball over the wall into the net, you cannot blame the goalkeeper, just applaud Messi for a job well done. You can only blame Enyeama if the ball had gone past him in the area he was guarding.
